We enjoyed Studley Castle. Very beautiful. Lovely grounds. We stayed in the annexe. The rooms were good and comfortable. Getting a bit tired now need freshning up in bathroom and carpet needs cleaning. The shower head was mouldy so needs attention to cleaning better. The rest of the hotel was fine.… more

We enjoyed Studley Castle. Very beautiful. Lovely grounds. We stayed in the annexe. The rooms were good and comfortable. Getting a bit tired now need freshning up in bathroom and carpet needs cleaning. The shower head was mouldy so needs attention to cleaning better. The rest of the hotel was fine. The food was very good in the Brassiere 32 and waitresses very polite and joyful and very helpful. Service was very good. Breakfast in the Market Kitchen was good as well. Entertainment was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of parking. Places of interest not too far away if need be. Very quite in rooms,

“Studley strictly weekend brilliant!”

Last minute booking for a one night stay at Studley for a strictly themed event. It was amazing! Strictly dancer Amy ( such a lovely genuine inspiring young lady) Carlos ( very funny) Katya (bubbly and full of enthusiasm) and of course celebrity Lewis Cope ( the ladies were very impressed lol and he was a genuine lovely guy who also took time for photos/ joined in with the residents dancing and his lovely smile never dropped once! ). The two strictly stars dance sessions were fun and Amy and Carlos dance on the Sunday was superb. As for Warners stay the room was very clean, food was good - maybe a little limited on choice for veg and breakfast continental type isn’t a thing it seems so could be improved if I’m being honest. As for the past post comment on Jack, we found him welcoming and fun maybe it’s just a bit of “over the top youth enthusiasm” on the day? … We went to studley the first year it opened and have been back a few times since and I guess the grounds are still maturing, and to be fair their isn’t room for the usual large gardens space of many warners. Plenty of places close to visit if you want to sight see or have a bigger a wander though. All in all it was a great last minute break and would recommend Studley .. oh and the bar food is very good !

“5 day break”

Overall our stay was very good but we did not like the fact that housekeeping was only every other day. My wife is capable of making the bed but I am sure some guests would not be able to do this. The other thing we did not like was the a la carte menu was the same each day apart from a special. Wh… more

Overall our stay was very good but we did not like the fact that housekeeping was only every other day. My wife is capable of making the bed but I am sure some guests would not be able to do this. The other thing we did not like was the a la carte menu was the same each day apart from a special. Which on the days we were there was the same on 3 days running. Entertainment was good especially Richard Digance who was very good. Because of the couple of problems mentioned I do not think we would go again.

“Some excellent elements but food let’s it down”

Stayed at Studley Castle 29/06 - 03/07 Excellent room and common rooms well kept, excellent spa pool area. Couple of matters with room were dealt with promptly. Entertainment mainly very good in evenings especially Richard Digance, ABBA with New Dynamics, Comedian excellent, with not a single swear word, had everyone laughing, and Opera singer excellent. Only entertainment member who let everyone down was Jack, very cocky arrogant and rude making fun of everyone, thinking he was so clever. We went on walk with Jack to Stables he walked talking to one person in front ignoring all other walkers, one lady who was exhausted stopped part way and he didn’t even check she was ok, he was so far ahead, kept walking for 15 mins then left saying he was busy with things to do, and advising people to either to go to main road, which has no paths and very dangerous, or go on through fields on pathway although ‘ farmer may not like it’. Very arrogant making fun of everyone thinks he’s so clever. Other things that let Studley down: No grounds or gardens of any note to walk round, the gardener is making every effort although surely the grounds warrant more than one gardener -nowhere to walk other than short walk to church and onward to Studley Village 1/2hr- not inspiring although can catch bus to Stratford on Avon - worth the effort. Food was very uninspiring with virtually same food every evening. Breakfast buffet superb especially fresh cooked pancakes and omelettes. Same very limited fruit salad mainly melon. Evening Fish was crucified overcooked then left on slabs to dry out, break up and cold, why have you removed the Chef choices with freshly cooked food. Veg cold not much choice and overcooked not good. Only one evening could we say we found something for each course to enjoy although did have salmon for starter and main. Still serving roasts every night in heatwave, people just choosing as not much else! This is our 5th Warners holiday, and another booked for October, but would not return or recommend Studley Castle all a bit boring and food just finished it off and accounts for low stars. Such a shame.
