A fabulous experience! We stayed with family and all separate rooms and each room was perfect and spotlessly clean. Lovely big bed, good selection of hot drinks, a fridge with cold water and most importantly fresh milk! (Which is always a winner for us!) There was fresh fruit and a good selection of snacks including a gluten free option. The Bathroom had a beautiful big bath, powerful shower and plenty of toiletries including flannels, sewing kit and slippers! The only thing missing from the room is self was an iron, but when asked this was brought to the room immediately. The worker at reception was very friendly and couldn't do enough make our stay as pleasant as possible, showing us to our rooms, and offered to help with luggage. As soon as you walk though the door, the hotel has a warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. There was a beautiful beer garden overlooking the water, and was the perfect place to enjoy our complimentary glass of fizz in the sunshine. The only down side is that you can sometimes hear muffled noises from the room next door, however as this was infrequent and you could on hear when in the bathroom, this did not bother us at all. Overall there was no noise from the hotel itself, we had a good, restful nights sleep. In terms of location this is hotel is in the ideal spot, opposite The Royal Shakespeare Company building, a short walk from the main high street and Shakespeare House. The hotel car park is on site and and included with your room, again we thought this was great as often now hotels charge for parking. They even let us stay parked there until 2pm after we had checked out, which was so helpful for us. We had breakfast included in our price, and the options were order from a hot menu, and continental buffet. We came towards the end of breakfast serving so options were limited for continental, but the croissants with jam were tasty, and so were the yoghurts and toast. The hot menu was a blanket £20 which we felt was a tad overpriced for what you had. However the hot menu was well cooked and tasty could tell it was quality produce. We also had a coeliac in our family, and she was able to have toast a breakfast, which she appreciated. So overall, we cannot recommend The Arden Hotel enough, great value for money, lots of lovely little extras, and we cannot wait to book again.

“Very nice hotel great location”

Wonderful time visiting Stratford for a family wedding. Would thoroughly recommend for location, value, quality.

The hotel is very nice and the deluxe room was spacious and pleasant, apart from the odd tatty bits). My only negative point is that we had booked a pre-theatre dinner. We arrived in the restaurant at 5.30pm which we thought was more than enough time to eat before the start of the play at 7.15pm (the RSC theatre is literally across the road). The waitress confirmed that we were going to the theatre so she knew we were on a schedule. However, there was a very long delay before we got our main courses (despite me prompting them), and ended up having to gobble our desserts at 7pm. The parking is useful and worth the £10.
