We Found This Little Gem By Accident. What A Beautiful Hotel. Staff Were Lovely . The Rooms Were Bright And Modern. The Breakfast Was Excellent. We Had Dinner At Their Restaurants. Again Just A Great Experience. One Of The Hi lites Of Owe Holiday.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Frogmill Hotel while visiting the Cotswolds. We only stayed for one night but we loved the feel of the hotel and grounds. Our room was well stocked and had a private patio that opened out into fields. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. There was a wedding going on that night so we did hear music late on into the night but it did not disturb us. We had breakfast and dinner there and both meals were delicious. I would reccomend visiting just for the food. The only downside is that the hotel is not within walking distance of any town so if you do not have a vehicle you are kind of stuck there. All in all a great experience.

We recently stayed at the Frogmill for one night, paying £239 pounds including breakfast. Check-in was warm and friendly, and we were shown to a lovely room with beautiful farmhouse decor, a gorgeous bathroom, and great water pressure. The pub downstairs had a great buzz too. That said, a few niggles stood out. Only one sugar sachet was provided for tea, the bathroom radiator was dusty, and the ironing board cover was stained. The biggest letdown was the night. With the recent hot weather, the room felt stifling and the air conditioning repeatedly showed an error code. It didn't work despite several reset attempts. Sleep quality was poor, as the double bed was 2 singles pushed together that drifted apart during the night and the pillows were extremely soft. Not really supportive. We couldn't find a hairdryer, which you'd normally expect at this level. Breakfast was pleasant and service was prompt, with nice touches like cappuccinos and lattes now included, but the food portion was a bit small. At checkout, the team acknowledged the AC fault as intermittent and apologized, but didn't offer any goodwill gesture. Given the price, especially with Saturday rates reportedly around350 pounds, it didn't quite feel like value for money. The setting is peaceful, parking is ample, and there is plenty to like, but with a room rate closer to 200 pounds, it might have felt fairer. Overall, I'd say it was a stay with real potential, but too many maintenance and comfort issues for the price.

Didn’t stay just went for dinner. Lovely building in a great setting. Sadly that’s the good. Four meals, 2 ordered the prawn and crab linguine, no problem all good. Didn’t stay just went for dinner. Lovely building in a great setting. Sadly that’s the good. Four meals, 2 ordered the prawn and crab linguine, no problem all good. Other ordered pie of the day, steak and ale and fish and chips. The pie was shocking, pastry soft and no filling, I did tell them but no reply, didn’t want to know. When fish and chips served we asked for vinegar, fish batter was hard and dry, after 10 mins asked for vinegar again and again another 10 mins later, was told they were refilling the bottles. Another 10 mins and they admitted there was no vinegar. A restaurant selling fish chips and chips with other meals and no vinegar. The fish and chips were ruined, again didn’t want to know. Fortunately we are not local, so we won’t have to return. Enjoy the setting but careful what you order. And check if they have vinegar before you start! Disappointed.
