Nice hotel with friendly staff but location needs more road signage had to drive around and ask member of public for directions as GPS was giving wrong locaiton. Nice hotel with friendly staff but location needs more road signage had to drive around and ask member of public for directions as GPS was giving wrong locaiton. Recption staff were friedly and helpful. Room was good size, with all the amenities as yo uwould expect. Disappointments with bedsheets not changed by cleaners for our two night stay, otherwise this would have been given 5*. Overall good experience and no hesitation of booking again.

“Perfect for a 2 night stay for getting to London and St Albans”

I stayed here for 2 nights to see friends in Colney and St Albans, and it was ideal. Staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming when you arrive, and are there 24/7 if you need anything. I stayed here for 2 nights to see friends in Colney and St Albans, and it was ideal. Staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming when you arrive, and are there 24/7 if you need anything. Despite being adjacent to the M25 it was very quiet there, and I slept like a log each night in their super comfy bed. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathrooms are modern. I had breakfast both mornings at the Beefeater next day, at the Old Mill, and that was good, with friendly service too. Overall a great spot to stay if you want to visit London without paying London prices. Two minor gripes - they could use more parking at the hotel, although you can overflow to the Beefeater car park if necessary. It's also a bit hard to find off Snug Oak Lane, and I passed it the first time I arrived as the entrance is down an un-made dirt road that looks like a private driveway. Possibly a bigger sign may help that? I'd stay there again regardless.

Staff very courteous and helpful which is what we have come to expect with Premier Inn. Although website states no air-conditioning I think it is about time that Premier Inn upgraded this hotel to have air-conditioning in all rooms it is unfortunate that we had to stay during the hottest period in May for 40 odd years and trying to sleep was almost impossible because of the heat inside the room. Fans had been supplied and blackout curtains had been drawn to reduce the heat from outside but very ineffectual.
