Had a 2 night break, for my aunties 75th birthday. Staff were outstanding, they even left a card for her, in her room and we were all treated to a free glass of prosecco. Tess and Jackie were delightful could not be more helpful. At the end of their long shift they would come and have a natter. And as hotel is attached to the race course it catered for my auntie not being so mobile. Rooms where clean, spacious and a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was lovely and catered for vegans.

Stayed for a night on the 25th April, it was fantastic, room was a little tired, but clean and functional, the stand out thing about this Hotel is the staff, everyone of them was exceptional, friendly, smiling and just appeared to be actually enjoying their jobs. The Breakfast was lovely, hot , fresh and plenty to choose from, we only chose this hotel because it is right next door to the racecourse, where we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant there and again the food and staff were excellent. We will definitely return when the horse racing is on. Special mention for Jackie who served us at the bar, funny, friendly and a super nice person, Holiday Inn you have an absolute treasure in Jackie, look after her.

“Stress Free”

I checked in late and was warmly welcomed by the staff, Dan and Marcus. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful despite the late hour, Their excellent service really stood out, thank you both!

Having never attended Wolverhampton Racecourse before, I choose this hotel purely for it's location and wasn't disappointed, there is a massive free car park.The bar/restaurant has direct access to the course and overlooks the Parade Ring.If you are staying at the hotel you receive discounted race tickets and 20%of drinks in their bar. I arrived early so my room wasn't ready, not a problem, the excellent helpful lad on reception got check-in sorted and brought my room key over once the room ready,whilst I waited in the bar. Standard Holiday Inn room was clean and tidy with all the usual amenities, some of the furniture was a little tired, comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower,meant a pleasureable stay was had.My room once again overlooked the Parade Ring and once the racecourse gates open,I made my way in via the hotel bar area. I had to pop back to my room during the evening, no issue. Following my good night's sleep, I headed down for breakfast, a warm welcome from Rose and her colleague, as with all the other staff I encountered, who looked after me during my breakfast,this despite there being a large number of people arriving for a conference in the course plus a couple groups of Liverpool fans who had stayed for the match the previous night at Molineux(a mile away). A good selection of hot and cold choices ensured I was fueled for the day. While this hotel is not the most picturesque but the staff are exemplary and that's sets it apart from other places I've stayed, already planning another visit.
