“York (gin experience)”
A bit if a walk into York city centre, but ok if weather is nice (it wasn’t for us) . Taxi cheap enough. Busy B&B / pub , clean , friendly, basic but homely. Food delicious & good value for money. Owners really friendly & lovely cook xxx

Context: Early 30s British solo traveller, 2 night stay in the single room booked via Agoda, for visiting friends in York. The location of the Lighthorseman is fantastic - 15 minutes walk into the centre of York and free parking on site. The room was small and did have a few signs of wear and tear… more
