“Always a good pub to visit”

“Bed for the night”
Met friends in york for drinks and I needed somewhere good, cheap and cheerful. It was what I wanted, a room and a bed for the night. The service checking in was great and the staff friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

“Could do better”
Food was hit or miss. First meal we had there was lovely but the 2nd time not so good. One of the meals was not available so picked another which was cheaper but they tried to charge us for the dearer one, also the chicken sandwich was not nice at all. We would not go back.
