“Lovely gem in York”
Had a great 4 night stay at the Wheatlands hotel. The staff are great as is the food with very good quality produce. Hotel is family run and make sure you have a lovely time. Definitely recommend this hotel if staying in York

Hotel had great ratings but I was a bit disappointed. Scaffolding on front due to upgrading. Could this not have been done in winter. Room and shower area very small. “A mixed Experience”
Staff are difficult at times but other times they can be okay. The clipped abrupt service of the English north unfortunately. Also very rude when I tried to check in but that’s okay.
