“Great Stay”
A lovely family run hotel, staff friendly and attentive. Very nice breakfast. Clean and comfortable. A short walk to the railway station and a 10-15 minute steady stroll into the City Centre. It will be my goto Hotel in York in future

“Needs to cope better with large groups”
We stayed for 4 nights on a bus tour .Hotel rooms need updated needs better shower tv and a lick of paint .steep step coming out of shower was dangerous . We had dinner for 4 nights there were 2 groups of school children and they were very nosey at breakfast and at night running about there rooms… more

We only stayed one night but is in a great location to catch an LNER train with it being near the station.
