Duke Of Leinster Hotel

“Good Hotel”

The Duke of Leinster is a good hotel. The service is very quite well and the breakfast is excellent. The staff is very kind, especially the receptionist Chaama. But the rooms are too small. The hotel is close enough to the metro station. It was a good experience!

We stayed in Duke of Leinster for 2 nights, 2 adults and 3 teenagers from 11th to 13th April. We had 2 rooms on the 4th floor. 406 and 402 I think! We stayed in Duke of Leinster for 2 nights, 2 adults and 3 teenagers from 11th to 13th April. We had 2 rooms on the 4th floor. 406 and 402 I think! Although the rooms were small they were clean and had lovely comfortable beds and powerful showers. This hotel is ideal for short city sightseeing breaks. 10 minutes walk from Paddington and 10 minutes from Bayswater underground station which we used a lot. Although the breakfast room is small we managed and the food served was lovely. We were actually amazed at how many fitted in and the staff looked after everyone anything we asked for we got. The staff throughout the hotel were all lovely and very helpful. Most importantly this hotel is situated in a very safe and quite area of London which we were very grateful for as we were travelling with kids, the price was also within our budget. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

“Value for money”

Booked for a 3 night stay, was welcomed and checked in promptly, had a room on the 5th floor which was “cosy” but very clean with Tea and Coffee facilities. Room was cleaned every day. Booked for a 3 night stay, was welcomed and checked in promptly, had a room on the 5th floor which was “cosy” but very clean with Tea and Coffee facilities. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was lovely, lots of options and halal options which was an added bonus! Hotel seems to be undergoing improvements and some noise in the morning, but luckily we were up and ready to go out for the day. The hotel is situated in a quiet street with a bus stop at the end of the road or a 10 minute walk to the nearest tube station or if your feeling like a good walk, Hyde park to Marble Arch is not too far away! All in all a great stay at this hotel and was very good value for money! Would definitely return.

“Great location but rooms need to be updated.”

It was okay. You can tell this building is an older building. The rooms that are pictured are not what they look like. The entire buildings floors are uneven. It was okay. You can tell this building is an older building. The rooms that are pictured are not what they look like. The entire buildings floors are uneven. We were on the 6th floor and the lift broke so we had to climb up and down to get in and out. Towards the top the steps are not level and it was hard to walk them. Our room was also hot all the time even with the window and AC fan. I could also hear everything that was going on in the room next to us. We tried to go to breakfast one morning and there were no seats available. The staff were super friendly though and a great location. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the subway stations. I think if they put some money into remodeling the rooms it would make a huge difference.
