“Beautiful period hotel”
Having been here twice now I can honestly say its amazing. The architecture, the age of the building is superb. The rooms are very nicely furnished with some lovely period pieces and a lovely 4 poster bed. Allegedly our room was haunted but unfortunately didn't see any ghosts . A nice tea and coff… more

“Atmospheric building.”
Great building, The food was ok, service was quite slow but they were busy so was forgivable and they did apologise. The toilets let it down.

“Spooky stay!”
We stayed for one night in the twin room. It was absolutely boiling in The Monks Cell so we had three fans going all night. The room was fine and the bathroom lovely. The staff were great.
