“Good experiance at the Moxy”

Clean fun hotel great for a one night stay close to airport takeaways 2 minute walk they Moxy also do great pizza beds are comfy. Good value for money the bus stop is right outside the hotel that takes you to the airport and they run every 8 minutes.

I recently booked a night at the Moxy in Hounslow from the 9th until the 10th of August. On arrival, I gave the booking reference to the staff at the reception. I recently booked a night at the Moxy in Hounslow from the 9th until the 10th of August. On arrival, I gave the booking reference to the staff at the reception. They informed me that the dates I had thought I booked were, in fact, for the 16th until the 17th of August. They said, "No worries, we have plenty of rooms available. All you need to do is contact Booking.com, as you booked through them, so they will have to contact the Moxy to change it on your behalf." I thought that's a bit long-winded but went ahead with trying to do that. I spent the next hour on the phone talking to an AI automated service trying to change the booking. I explained to the manager at the Moxy, "I'm trying to get through to Booking.com, and do you have a number where I can speak to a real person?" He gave me a number, which led to yet another AI customer service person, who eventually put me through to a human. Once I had gotten through to the person, they said they had to call the Moxy to change the booking date. I said, "I'm standing at the front desk; I can hand the phone to the staff, and you can speak to them now." They said, "We can't do that as it's company policy that we have to call the hotel ourselves." Once they had spoken to the Moxy and the room was allocated, I noticed that it had twin beds; it was a large double bed, which I didn't request. The Moxy said they couldn't change it; I had to go back to Booking.com for them to change the booking details after I had just spent an hour talking to an AI-generated customer service person. I said I didn't have time to do it as I had a function to attend and I was already running late. I went to the function and arrived back at the Moxy, where I spoke to another manager who kindly changed the room to one which had twin beds, which I was grateful for. I'm aware I made the initial mistake on the booking, but the staff at the Moxy were really unhelpful in me trying to change the booking.
