“Delicious food and great service”

Tia and Natasha were on the ball with service, and very friendly. They were very calm and polite dealing with an agitated person outside the hotel. The fish and chips were excellent

We've stayed at this hotel a lot over the years. We alternate mainly between here and the Queens and visit Leeds a couple of times a year for a mini break. We've also stayed at Doubletree by Hilton, The Met , The Marriot and Park Inn hotel, so we have other hotels to compare the Radisson with. I'd say Radisson Blu is our favourite. The location is fantastic. Very near to shopping, restaurants , leeds museum, Henry Moore institute and the Arena. We arrived before 3pm and were able to store our luggage and go exploring for a while, before check in. Once in the room we were happy with the size and bathroom. Air conditioning was fantastic, on a very hot August day. There was a large wall mounted TV, a fridge and a safe. Our bed was huge and there were 2 complimentary bottles of water. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and there were fixed bottles of shampoo etc. There were sachets of tea, coffee and pots of milk ( no biscuits). There were just a couple of little niggles with the room- *The safe was broken throughout our stay, despite reporting it. * It seemed very dark in the room. Not much natural lighting and the lights weren't very bright * I dropped something and as I picked it up off the floor I noticed an empty biscuit packet under the bed. It appeared that under the bed hadn't been cleaned for a while. We had breakfast included and it was good. The bread for toast was fresh and good quality. There were croissants, cakes and danish pastries. There was also fruit, cereals, mackerel and salad dishes. There was a hot selection , including bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, beans, sausage and bacon. There was also gluten free bread and a toaster specifically for that bread Coffee was very good from the machine and the orange juice was good quality The restaurant and bar area is smart, comfortable and has a nice vibe. Staff were pleasant throughout the hotel. We travelled by train this time, but there is a car park available in The light. The hotel offer a discount code to reduce the cost, but you need to book your parking in advance to use it. The train station is a short walk from this hotel , around 8 minutes, so very handy. We did a lot of walking during our stay as Leeds is a very walkable city. We visited most of the shopping areas including Trinity,Victorian quarter, Merridian centre, Leeds market , Corn exchange and Victoria Gate. Leeds has some amazing architecture and every time we go I find more buildings to be impressed by. This time I noticed the sculpture of sailors in the brickwork above Bootleggers bar, for the first time. I visited the Henry Moore institute and enjoyed the digital sculpture themed exhibition. Very strange, but interesting. We visited a few bars both nights and tried different areas. A favourite area included Whitelocks ale house, The Ship and Pack horse. Leeds has something for everyone. It's a vibrant city with a great atmosphere. Our favourite place for a weekend away. I definitely recommend Radisson Blu as a base.

“Good stay in Leeds”

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great breakfast! Location is decent as well. This is our go to when visiting Leeds
