Drinks were expensive in the bar£21 for two wines...staff were nice and helpful, although being an experienced visitor to Manchester other hotels in the area offer better va... more

“Beautiful but loud!”

Beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great experience checking in. We enjoyed a visit to the spa which was lovely. Ordered pizzas to room which were great. Short queue at breakfast (10 on a Sunday so probably busiest time) but the food was great. Good range of hot and cold buffet choi... more

  • The top reviews of The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel are: A fabulous city break in the heart of Manchester. We stayed in a family suite which was lovely and spacious. There was a beautiful and big terrace as well. I really enjoyed the turned-down service while we were out in the evening, our towels were changed and we got more biscuits! We stayed with our 2 children (4 and 8) and enjoyed the pool. There are set times for children which I think is fair for other guests! We booked 2 time slots. The pool area is fantastic and very comfortable with day beds and sofas. There is a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room. A great way to relax in the city! We ordered breakfast in the bedroom and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend the pancakes. My coffee got lost in the order though but I did not mind massively as there is a coffee machine in the room. Also, there were no toasts with the full English which I thought was odd. Maybe we needed to specifically ask?! Anyway, nothing spoiled our stay in this beautiful hotel. A special mention to Gary who was very helpful at check-in, mentioning about pool times and who made us feel very welcome everytime he saw us at the hotel. Check-out was very smooth too as we just handed in the key cards. We will definitely be back! A fabulous city break in the heart of Manchester.
