Great hotel and location. Very clean rooms. The staff were really friendly everyone was so helpful, we loved the breakfast and in particular our waiter ‘Billy’ offered great service with a smile and so welcoming to us.

I travel to Belfast monthly for work, and have stayed at many hotels in the city. The AC Marriott is by far the most business-friendly hotel in the city. Modern rooms, excellent location on the river, restaurants and pubs all walkable, and close to Belfast City Airport. The gym is not huge but it gets the job done. Special call-out to Billy who works the morning shift in the restaurant, since he greet everyone with cheer and kicks the day off with a positive attitude and a warm smile.

Excellent stay at the AC Hotel Belfast — one of the best all-round places we visited in the city. The location is fantastic right on the River Lagan with great views across towards the Titanic Quarter. It’s an easy walk into the Cathedral Quarter but far enough out to feel relaxed. The hotel itself has a cool modern feel with a slightly industrial edge that really suits the waterfront setting. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well designed, and the views across the water are a real bonus. The bar and food offering were also spot on. We had lunch outside in the sun overlooking the Lagan — sandwich, chips and soup for around £15 — and it was superb. Great quality, good value and a really nice setting. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, and staff were friendly and efficient throughout. Also decent little gym that does the job for a day or two.

Nice hotel, really nice staff at the restaurant, very kind and friendly. However, three rooms are so noisy, and the view very ugly, not at all like the photos. I asked for a quiet room, it’s like the road roar is right outside your room, although it’s a few hundred yards away, bring your ear plugs, s as the windows are not sound proof or any where near! The room is clean and fine decorated, first world problem, no plug near the mirror to dry your hair. And what’s with a fridge with 2 glasses and no water, really Marriott what are you doing! Just annoying. The restaurant staff make the stay and well done cleaners.
