We had another great stay at Rogerthorpe Manor. All staff without exception are friendly and make your stay enjoyable. Food was amazing as usual. The sun made an appearance too making it an all round superb overnight break! Looking forward to the next one 😀.

Just returned from a night away. We stayed in suite 1 and it was definitely worth it. The suite was gorgeous, loads of room inside, upstairs it had a walk in shower and free standing bath. It also had a small private garden. The staff were very friendly and took the time to talk you. We had food in the jacobean pub which was lovely and very reasonable. Will definitely stay again

“Delightful outing.”

We had a meal in the Jacobean and it was a delightful experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was divine, well worth another visit sometime. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming with just a quiet background music.

I got married at Roger Manor on the 24th of February 2024, from the start the staff were amazing, especially Karen. Our my first visit I came with my sister and I knew this was the place I wanted to get married at, the venue is stunning inside and outside, and they offered everything we needed and more. After my visit I knew I had to bring my husband-to-be (at the time) to see the venue, I knew he would fall in love with the place as much as I did. Our my second visit I was still in love with the place, Karen never pressured me into booking a venue, whereas at other places I felt pressured. My husband and I only wanted a small wedding, and we loved our accomodate for both big and small weddings, we didn't want a massive room that would feel empty as we were planning on only having 30 people at the wedding including myself and my husband. We were given two choices of room for the daytime and we loved them both. From the start no question was too silly, we only booked the venue in June and got married the following February meaning we only had 7 months to plan, this wasn't a problem, any questions I asked were answered quickly and professionally. All the planning was made easier, by having Karen by our side, she gave us advice from getting a photographer, how to book to get a registrar and much more, each time we went to the venue for a catch up she answered most of us questions before I even had time to ask them, this made me feel good as I knew she knew what she was doing, I think when you are planning a wedding its nice to have that expert on hand and Karen is definitely a expert at wedding. On the day of the wedding, Karen rang me in the morning as I had stayed the night before with my mum, sister and daughters(The room was massive and everything we needed to get ready the next morning including two dressing tables, which is much needed when there 5 girls getting ready) to make sure I was ok. Before people started to arrive the wedding team set up the venue for me, allowed me to go into the evening room to set up my cake and showed my daughter where she could sit to play the guitar, a chair had been set up for her and once I and my husband were about to walk down the aisle Joe signal to her, another thing I'm greatly for as my daughter was very nervous. When I was ready to get married, Karen came to my room to collect me, she could tell I was very overwhelmed and she helped me calm me down(Thank you, Karen). After the ceremony, when me and my husband came out of the room Joe was waiting with a drink for me and my partner and I asked to swap mine for another drink, Joe had no problem with that and quickly got me a different drink. Throughout the day of the wedding, Joe was amazing, before the wedding breakfast he showed me and my husband the room to make sure we were happy with it, he then took me and my husband to another room so we could have five minutes together before the wedding breakfast (this five minutes was much needed together time for me and my husband.) The wedding breakfast was amazing, we had so many choices to pick from, we had a very fussy guest who decided he didn't want anything but before the wedding, I told Karen about this and asked if we could change something for something else and that was no problem, on the note of food the breakfast is good at the restaurant Jacob pub which is attached to the venue, and the evening meal was enjoyed by all. Any questions throughout the day Joe was there, we didn't have to think we could enjoy ourselves, we couldn't have asked for anything else. Thank you Joe for that :) The room we stayed in for the night was beautiful it was on two floors, the ground floor had a dressing table with a little sitting area and even an outside bit, behind this room, was the bedroom. Upstairs there is a free-standing bath, shower and room with toilet in, for our first anniversary we will be booking this room to stop in, to remind us what an amazing day we had. Well, my husband and I were getting married, the team moved my stuff from the room I stayed in the night before into the room me and my husband would be staying in (this included my mum, sister and daughter's stuff), meaning I didn't have to think about moving my things before the wedding. I'm so glad we picked this venue, it was the best decision we made, and everything was perfect. And me and my husband want to thank the wedding team and other staff members from the roger thorpe manor for everything you were amazing. :)
