While staying in Edinburgh, stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Edinburgh. This hotel is located in Old Town on the Royal Mile. Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to numerous attractions. The lobby is quite large and plenty of seating areas. Hotel is only has 4 floors. Towards the back, near the elevators, they have a large area of tables and chairs. It’s is open to use. This is were they have their daily breakfast at in the morning I reserved a Studio room, since it was just me on this trip. I noticed when I got into the room, it was facing the High Street. Room has a double bed. It has a kitchenette - utensils, medium size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and kettle. The Studio room does have plenty of storage. There are 2 closets just inside the front entrance and another closet beside the bed. The bathroom is on the small size but clean. If you’re not interested in a Studio room, they do have a 1 bedroom suite. One thing you should be aware of is that in order to turn on the lights in the room, you will require to insert your room key. There is numerous electrical outlets throughout the room. Didn’t hear very much noise from High Street. Besides having the original windows, they have secondary windows which keeps out much of the noise from the street below They do have a fitness room, a laundry room (£3 for a wash and £2 for dry cycle) and a recycle room. Which are all available 24 HRS a day. They do not have cleaning services everyday. If you require additional items, like toilet paper and towels, you can go to the reception. Just be aware, every Friday at 12 pm, they have a mandatory fire alarm drill. You do not have to do anything For dining options, they don’t have anything on the property. The Hotel does have a breakfast buffet for additional fee. It is available 6:30am to 10 am Monday to Friday and 7am to 10am on weekends and bank holiday’s. But there are plenty of places along the Royal Mile to get something to eat. Just to the left of the hotel on the Royal Mile is McKays Pub On The Mile and Tolbooth Tavern. It is about 2 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel does have a snack area where you can purchase pop, chips, water, bars, and other items. I attached a picture of prices for reference The price was kind of high, even when I am a member of the loyalty program but I understand due to proximity of the upcoming summer. The Studio room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. While staying there, I had no issues. All staff were friendly and attentive.
