Location is in the heart of the city, nice coffee shop across the street, plenty of restaurants and pubs with in walking distance Very friendly and responsive staff. It made our Inverness stay 10/10

We stayed at your Highland Apartments, unit 1, 20-23 Bridge Street, Inverness. Upon arrival, sometime after 18:30, we were unable to access the lockbox for our keys.  We were given an incorrect access code for the lock box.  Using the number that was provided within the information provided by our Travel Agent, we attempted to contact your Customer Relations department/person.   Each of the first six (6) calls resulted in a recorded message.  Utilizing both option one (1) and option two (2), we continued to receive recorded messages stating that the office was closed, and on one (1) call, said to call an after-hour emergency number.   Finally, after a sixth (6th) call to the original number a person answered and was able to obtain the correct access code for the lock box to our unit.  This took nearly one (1), exceptionally stressful hour, while our driver waited with my family and many bags, curbside.  Ultimately, we were able to access the lock box and found only one (1) set of keys.  The second (2nd) set was delivered the following day while we were on separate tours. Once we accessed the apartment, we found it to be uncomfortably warm.  All of the heating units were set to approximately 25C.  We found no user manual, which is customary at most rental units, guiding us on the use of the units.  We attempted to open the patio doors to allow the cool breeze to lower the temperature.  The door in the main living area was cumbersome but we finally were able to open it.  Neither of the doors in the bedrooms would open.  We were able to use the tilt feature, but not the doors.  The one in the primary bedroom had no handle at the bottom.  Again, we found no user manual, or guide to help us determine if we were operating the doors correctly.  The first (1st) nights stay, after unpacking and settling in, was somewhat uncomfortable as a result. The unit was overall clean, well equipped and spacious although the curtains were worn and cumbersome.  We eventually found a binder with appliance manuals in the laundry room on day three (3).  They were unhelpful. Suggestions for improvements: Accurate instructions given to arriving guest for key access. Simplified appliance instructions in a binder located where new guest will find it upon arrival. Pillows were too bulky.   There should be a selection of fill sizes. King size beds are preferred. We realize that most UK bathrooms are equipped with tubs but showers versus bathtubs are preferred, especially by older guests.  At a minimum, bath mats and grab bars should be provided to prevent slip and fall accidents. Rain shower heads do not make for good water conservation as it takes twice as long to get 'clean'. Overall, the location and the view made up for some of the negatives about this unit.   There is no question that the proximity to restaurants, shops, attractions and tour pick-up locations make this a premium choice for people who stay in Inverness.  Per your request, the feedback provided, if implemented, would certainly gain an extremely high ranking among other local rentals.

“Great location, nice amenities. Price is ok”

Nice place but we had some issues. The laundry machine not working. Guessing it had not been right for a while but we had to call for service. Outside of that, the staff were very helpful. Not sure it was worth the price considering we had to work through the washing machine issue
