“Exceptional staff”
Delightful weekend at the Marine. Staff were exceptionally great, especially warm welcome at reception- super friendly & exceptionally helpful. Lovely seaview room. Fantastic breakfast- really high quality ingredients & the perfectly cooked potato scone!

“All class”
The staff was all class. Colin, Struan, Oliver in particular were the best kind. Facilities were wonderful. Would hope to come again before I’m too old to swing a club.

“Good time but wouldn’t return”
Husband and I stayed for 1 night. Check in was very quick. Beautiful lobby and bar area. We stayed on the first floor in a double sea view room. Views were incredible over the golf course towards the sea. The room itself was smaller than expected. The window was only able to open a few inches. Like… more

“5 star stay with 4 star food”
5 star location 5 star accommodation 5 star staff 5 star spa and treatments 4 star food at dinner…great starters, good steaks but overcooked, rest OK 3.5 star food at breakfast, quality and quantity

“Room for improvement”
We have just returned from 2 nights at this hotel in double double room. Room was fabulous. Food dreadful (breakfast And dinner) and spa facilities need a lot more of an upgrade. This hotel needs a lot more refinement before it can fully justify what it charges.
