“Outstanding Stirling Hospitality”
As a Stirling born and bread girl, I don’t think you can do any better than the Golden Lion. Just been in for a beautiful lunch with my son and experienced great food, wonderful service and the joy of a really talented pianist throughout. Love this place!

“Pay for what you get. Dated and faded.”
Hotel rooms in severe need of a freshen up, as from what we experienced they haven't been updated in decades. Great if you're a retro fan of the 80s, but I'm not one. Soft furnishings (chairs) were very very minging (that being a good Scottish descriptor), but it is suitable in this case to use it.… more

“Poor rooms and slow service”
We had a room with no windows. Just a blank panel looking onto a fire escape. Breakfast took nearly an hour as although 3 waiters only one cook Staff all very pleasant.
