Another comfortable stay at one of my favourite Premier Inns. The premier plus rooms are really comfortable and the extras for not too much more add to the comfort of the stay. My only criticism is that the marking of the accessible parking bays is unnecessarily wasteful and there could easily be more available if the spaces between were smaller. This visit I was lucky but hasn’t always been the case.

Rude chef shouting because we sent a steak back as ordered medium rare and arrived well done came back.only just medium more like medium We ordered two cheese cake which after ordering was out of stock we choose pancakes which was lovely The waiting staff where very professional And really saved the night We will return as we have stayed here before but really feel the chef needs to receive more customer trading as we overheard He poor rude language about us I have over 30 years experience working in hospitality in awarded restaurants And to found the chef to be letting the whole team. “Very good experience despite outside looking very tired”

The room and restaurant ambience very nice. Slightly let down with the lack of transparency around the meal deal. Some items you had to pay a little extra for but was not made that clear

“Be aware deceitful parking charges!”

Hotel was in good clean order and very presentable. Good sleep as usual. However not one member os staff greeted me with a good evening or morning, especially noting I had breakfast and was simply asked for my room number. Hotel was in good clean order and very presentable. Good sleep as usual. However not one member os staff greeted me with a good evening or morning, especially noting I had breakfast and was simply asked for my room number. The most irksome thing was just receiving a fine for the parking, 14 days after staying there! I would be conscious that a city centre hotel might require car park charges but a relatively rural hotel with no barrier to enter/exit? Didnt see any signage either in reception area or a note in my room (all guests must use a vehicle noting its location). I detest this sort of deceitful practice and wont stay there again.
