“Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel experience!”
First time visiting and will definitely return. Beautiful town and location of the hotel. Lovely view over the green from the tables out the front and the food was amazing.

“Lovely Evening”
We stayed the Globe last night and it’s a nice place to be, great setting, nice staff and a lovely, spacious room. We are in the restaurant where the food was good, the service smashing and all with a lovely atmosphere

“Service charge”
Lunch today for 4 people all acceptable. Noticed a 10% service charge on my receipt when I arrived home. Sharp business practice?

“Great hotel by the edge of the village green.”
Stayed in The Arches a short walk from the hotel. (Room 32 cost £232 for Saturday & Sunday stay including breakfast) Small King size bedroom facing a courtyard. Compact ! “Nice comfortable room”
Room very spacious ,clean and quiet overlooking the green . The only problem was the toilet didn't flush ....when we reported this to reception , their answer was "oh yes we know the toilets in the rooms at the front of the pub don't flush properly"....not exactly ideal or helpful!
