Stayed one night on 10/22/25 for a doctor appointment the following morning. As a Diamond Club member I have stayed at Hilton properties for decades and this was one of the best Homewood Suites. My wife and I were greeted warmly by Markita at the front desk, given a room per a previous request, ate a decent breakfast the following morning, stayed in a clean and well maintained room. Front desk staff the next morning were also wonderful. We will stay here again.

“Great job Roweka!”

We brought a full baseball team of 14 year old boys to the hotel for a week in June 2025. The accommodations were good, the amenities were as described, beds were comfortable enough but the staff made the stay great. Antwan helped us several times and was very patient will all of our rowdy kid… more

We brought a full baseball team of 14 year old boys to the hotel for a week in June 2025. The accommodations were good, the amenities were as described, beds were comfortable enough but the staff made the stay great. Antwan helped us several times and was very patient will all of our rowdy kids. Roweka at the front desk was super to us helping numerous times with everything we needed to be comfortable. She went above and beyond what anyone would expect when our travel plans changed unexpectedly. She contacted corporate on our behalf and made what could have been a very stressful experience go through without any problems.

“Ok location...there are probably better options in Birmingham”

We stayed a night at this location on the way back from Atlanta. It was in a nice neighborhood, and was a very quiet location in the woods by a lake. We stayed a night at this location on the way back from Atlanta. It was in a nice neighborhood, and was a very quiet location in the woods by a lake. The hotel looks to have undergone recent renovations, and it was a bit messy. There were paint cans and leftover food in the stairwell, and it looked like that area hadn't been cleaned since reno...I don't know if they plan to clean it up, but it was a mess. The rooms are quiet and big- we had a 2 bedroom suite with a small kitchen. The reno was a bit of a rush job- there were paint drips and crooked tiles in our room on the top floor. They left the existing cherry wood cabinets which were very traditional, but added gray paint and super modern furniture and lamps that didn't fit the feel of the property. It was a weird combination of old cabinets and countertops with gray paint slapped on the walls and tacky modern furniture. It all felt really cheap and a waste. I wish they had invested a little more into the redesign because the property has potential. Instead it comes off as cheap and thrown together. The ceiling are short as well- it felt under 8' on the top floor, giving to an overall sense of closed in- spaces. Overall the room was clean, and quiet, and the location itself is beautiful. The front desk staff wasn't overly friendly and seemed mad to be working...we had just come from 2 nights at the wonderful Homewood Suites in Duluth Georgia where everyone was super friendly and caring. The staff at Inverness location just didn't care, and it was a bit off-putting. Also wanted to mention someone there really loves Halloween...the whole lobby and breakfast area was decorated for Halloween, and not the cutesy fun stuff...they had a life-size killer clown and fake blood splattered everywhere...it was bizarre and not appropriate for families with young kids. The lobby and dining area itself were nice and quiet, but the Halloween decor was such a weird addition that it made the area feel uncomfortable. Overall this hotel is in a nice, quiet location and we didn't experience any problems per se, but the staff wasn't very friendly and the over-the-top Halloween decor was just weird. I think it's fine for a quick trip if you need a quiet place to stay, but I don't know that I would recommend this location for anyone wanting a nicer trip.

“Beware of kids sports teams”

Nice hotel- only problem was we had a room above the pool and there were loud teenagers in the pool past 10:00 pm. Had to call the front desk . Noticed a lot of groups from various sports staying there. But the location was great and our room was nice.
