Very nice hotel. Suitable for business or pleasure. It felt upscale and adult, but you could certainly bring your kids here. They do allow dogs, which is nice. Vibe is clean crisp and modern. Beds and linens were nice. Housekeeping did a good job. Lobby and room decor were fresh and contemporary and everything was in good shape. Pool area is small and perfunctory, but clean, and they have towels available. No hot tub. They have a nice yard area with fake grass, which probably exists for events. There’s a bar in the lobby and they serve a handful of pastries, juices, and coffee in the morning. There’s an upscale restaurant on site which we did not try. They have room service, which is astronomically expensive of course but the food was fine. They offer a few snacks and drinks near the check-in, which you can charge to your room. Although the variety wasn’t that awesome. All the employees we interacted with were very pleasant and friendly. They have a ton of guys (why are they always guys?) managing valet, so getting your car is easy and fast. They appeared to do housekeeping daily, which I appreciate. Nice illy espresso coffee maker in the room, no microwave, but there was a refrigerator. Other comments: It’s not really walkable to much of anything other than the Hilton across the street, although there is a nice big park next-door and of course you can walk to the racetrack. You have no choice but to valet park, and they charge you 30 bucks a day for it. This always drives me crazy, why not just bake that into the price because in LA pretty much everybody needs a car. So the lower-ish initial looking price point initially was a bit deceptive because of course, in addition to paying for parking, you have to tip them every time you want to use your car. They charge you almost 50 bucks a night for a dog, so it would be nice if they could at least make dog bowls available. I wish upscale hotels in general would make it easier for you to get paper plates and cutlery for when you order food to be delivered… I felt like I was putting them out by asking for a plate. Connecting to the Internet seemed oddly annoying and I got charged for it even though I’m a Marriott member. Also, I’m not sure why, but we kept getting weird holds and charges on our credit card during our entire stay which I decided to ignore and just see what happened upon checkout, but my final folio looked correct other than the one day incorrect wifi charge. The person whose review said there were no doors in the bathrooms freaked me out, but our room did not have a problem. They had barnstyle sliding doors, which don’t lock, but other than that you can close the door to the bathroom and separately for the toilet. Overall, a very nice hotel, my complaints are minimal, we would absolutely stay here again, and I recommend it

We recently stayed at Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. This was our family’s first time visiting this part of Southern California, and the hotel played a big role in making the trip so memorable. The standout for us was the valet team, they were truly incredible. Not only were they fast and efficient every single time, but they took the extra step to get to know us throughout our stay. They remembered our family, asked about our day, and shared helpful insights about the area. The conversations were genuine and welcoming, and their level of service honestly deserves a 100/10. Our room was very clean and well maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The bartenders we interacted with were also very pleasant and added to the overall relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We especially enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the food was consistently very good and a great way to start the day. The outdoor spaces were another highlight, clean, comfortable, and very inviting, making it easy to unwind after a long day out. The location is excellent. We always felt safe, and having Santa Anita Park right across the street was a huge plus. It’s a beautiful area, and we loved exploring it. We truly cannot wait to come back. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

“Best Hotel in Arcadia!”

I an a frequent guest at Le Meridien since I travel there often for work. The staff have become like family. Everyone is super friendly and the rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are super comfortable and it's in walking distance to other restaurants and shopping centers. There's a beautiful park across the street that great for exercise or people watching. The bartenders are knowledgeable on drink menus and recommendations for dining. There is a horse track across the street so many Happy Hour guests to enjoy conversations with. Highly recommend if you are in the Arcadia/Pasadena area.

Overall pleasant, clean hotel and very friendly staff especially at the bar and housekeeping. BUT beware if you are not traveling alone. The rooms have open bathrooms meaning no doors and everything is visible, although there is a (not soundproof) door to toilet. Plus the sink area is minimal and there is no where to put toiletries. I know the open concept is popular with designers but not with regular people who don’t like roommates seeing you in the shower
