This was a nice apartment located about 3 blocks from the Valley Metro light rail. It was a very secure building. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, and modern appliances. The issue I had was the mattress was a memory foam of some type and very hard. There was only 1 comforter, and no blankets or throws. No tv, just Chromecast. I brought my Roku and it worked great as the internet was very fast. It is a short walk to grocery store, restuarants, and about 10 minutes on the rail to downtown and sports arenas. The airport was 40 minutes on the rail. I spent $20 ride the light rail the week I was in Phoenix so I was very happy about that. The apartment was also very inexpensive compared to downtown hotels.

5 day stay for a vacation during winter. Overall the concept of a building for all vacationing rentals is good however it is clear there are a mix of residents university students families all living here not on vacation. Facilities: Everything always clean or being clean great job to the cleaning staff. Gym almost always empty and had good equipment we used most mornings. Pool - suppose to be heated in winter it was no. Used the Sonder chat to ask and well they said it’s heated in winter and Jan is winter still waiting for someone to tell us why it wasn’t heated this week. This was one of the main reasons we picked this specific Sonder. Tried to get to the hot tub in the joining building - tenant told us good luck getting it heated. Fob didn’t work despite the chat telling us it should have. Our unit: Queen studio was a good size for a couple, great to have laundry and galley style kitchen. Bring your laptop or device to watch tv as no cable. Dining table was more of a patio set that wobbled barely space for 2 to have plates and cups on. Water pressure was very weak otherwise space suited what we needed. Location: we chose this location for easy access to being walkable to go out however there’s a lot of sketchy activity day and nor did not feel comfortable walking around. Lots of people living on the streets and some shady things seen while exploring the pool area and front entrance. It is 20-35 min drive to most things to do but you will need a car not family friendly. Overall the concept of sunder seems good but this isn’t what it was adventised as. Next time we’ll stay at a hotel with kitchenette instead.
