The centre of Phoenix is just 10 minutes away by car, and it is approximately 15 km to Phoenix-Sky Harbor International airport.

“Family friendly—river ranch was OK.”
Beds were very comfortable, food was good, and play area/greens were nice for the evenings. One warning is that the river ranch does not allow any outside food/snacks. The check in lady took all of our snacks. Totally unnecessary and frustrating when you are going to the pool with a big family.

“Could Be Better”
We stayed here for four nights, mostly because of location. We did not use any of the advertised resort amenities such as pool or mini golf. Our room was in the south building and it appeared recently remodeled and was nice. But the TV remote controls were the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel room.… more
