“Location is good enough”
Great location near Chase Field! Clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. This charming historical hotel offers good service, though rooms can be a bit noisy. Book direct for better rates!

“A downtown bargain”
The price was definitely right (we stayed during spring training season, when Phoenix hotel rates soar), the staff was friendly, and our room was fine. “A 1928 hotel with character.”
First time staying here and I was not displeased. Yes, it is an old building, but is in pretty good shape. My room with one bed was fine. The dimensions of the bathroom are rather cramped, but I spend a lot of time traveling on planes and trains, so should not complain. The cleanliness was good.… more

“This is a historic hotel, not a luxury hotel.”
Wifi is non-existent, television has basic channels, and there is no AC controls in the room. That being said, it is a beautiful building. Rooms are clean and have all the basic needs.
