We were here for my son's volleyball tournament and had a great stay. We had reserved a 2-queen room through the tournament organizer and were given a corner room (I am titanium on Bonvoy) that was extremely spacious and worked well for three people. The lounge breakfast buffet was fantastic and had lots of options. The hotel gym was solid. The lobby restaurant / bar was good as well. My only complaint was tat the lounge had this machine for making individual coffees (like just regular coffee) that was a huge bottleneck on the first day of the tournament, when the lounge was very crowded. But the hotel remedied this by having coffee urns ready on the second and third days - good adjustment.

He could not have been more helpful, accommodating and kind and found a way to make me happy and comfortable! I got exactly what I asked for when I asked for a quiet room. I never sleep well at hotels but I did here! The views from the 18th floor were OUTSTANDING and the bedding was SO unbelievably comfortable! The club level was worth it in my opinion and the staff in the club breakfast were great as well! The cooler full of waters and pop was perfect. The only thing they were missing was a Starbucks in the hotel. They DID have Starbucks coffee at the club level though. I visited my friends hotel comparable price wise and Westin is way better. I would 100% stay here again! The gym even had Pelotons so I was able to work out. Loved my stay and was sad to leave. Thank you Justin for making it perfect!

“Top Notch Westin Experience”

I stayed at the Westin Phoenix downtown for 3 nights while in town on business. I only have Marriott Gold status, so I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a corner suite on the 15th floor at check-in. I also was able to check-in early at 2:00, which was greatly appreciated. The room was spectacular. From the comfy (huge) sectional couch to the enormous bathroom with soaking tub to the wet bar area, I could not have asked for anything more. The room also included a coffee maker, safe, mini-fridge, and comfy robes. The shower was phenomenal (it had both a rain shower head and a wand). The room was exceptionally clean. The bed and linens were all top quality. There was a bit of city noise at night, but nothing that was bothersome that high up. There were 5 elevators which was more than enough for a hotel this size so that I never had to wait more than 30 seconds for a lift. I did get to use the swimming pool on that first afternoon. Somehow, the sun angle was still perfect to allow for plenty of sun. There were plenty of loungers and a water cooler available. There is elevator access along with steps. The pool is smaller than it appears in the hotel website's glamour shots, but that's to be expected. I ate dinner twice at the hotel restaurant. As another poster said, the options were limited. But both the chicken sandwich and the hamburger I had were delicious. My colleagues all enjoyed their food, too. I visited the concierge lounge on the 11th floor one evening. So many hotels have done away with their concierge lounges. It was refreshing to have that option. I used the fitness center all 3 mornings and greatly appreciated that it is open 24/7. The center is also on the 11th floor. There were 3 Life Fitness ellipticals along with bikes and treadmills. There were also nautilus type weight machines along with free weights, mats, and yoga balls. There were always plenty of towels and water, although the sanitizing wipes were missing the first morning. I was there for a work function and was impressed with the food and service during our seminar breaks. I hope to come back soon to visit with my husband.
