If it wasn't for the views that this hotel / Inn offers, the Inn itself is no longer worth the price they are charging. It is now very sterile, cold and unfriendly, no one is there to meet / greet you, no one is there to offer suggestions, and no one is there if you have any questions or problems. Everything is done via text, if you need to exchange just towels after a couple of days, you will be charged. The website lists amenities of a grill to use to, fire pits to use on cool evenings when you just want to sit out and enjoy the night skies - NOPE not a one could be found and heck, we couldn't even find a freezer for ice. We had ONE coffee cup in our Sunset room, when you walk into the area where the villas are, it is very dark (no lights to light your way, not even on the doors that you use to enter the villa area). This creates a huge safety issue with the area being dark and the walkway very uneven, there was nothing welcoming to this place at all. We were there for 4 nights and other than our first night, we were the only living breathing folks at this resort. We stayed here about 20+ years ago and it was wonderful, we were greeted, shown around and welcomed the whole time we were there, plus they would have bread baking while we were out exploring so that when we came back, we were welcomed to the wonderful smell of baked bread. There was a small shop to purchase recipe books, locally made items and lots of other cool stuff, this time, they didn't even leave a light on, and we had to stumble to our room in the dark. It was like night and day, and unless you just want a very sterile cold place to lay your head, this is not the place. I've never been more disappointed in returning to a place that held such wonderful memories and all for the sack of saving money. Oh, and even the keypads that you had to use were not lit up when you got to the door, so you just had to hope you started pressing in the correct codes. At the end of our stay, they wanted us to take our trash to the dumpster down the road and to clean our dishes and everything to assist the housekeeping, even though we paid $95 for cleaning. Nope, won't be back, this is no longer an Inn but a cold impersonal set of buildings!
