This hotel was great! Conveniently located in Sedona, but feels very private. The outdoor patio has stunning views of the red rocks. Registration and checkout were easy and quick, and all staff were nice. In fact, one morning we planned an early jeep tour and asked for blankets at the front desk. The early morning clerk, Yvonne, left her post to go to the housekeeping office and brought us the blankets - so kind! A great base for a visit to the area. The only drawback is the emergency light in the room’s ceiling. It made sleep really difficult. Either the light needs to be moved to another part of the room, or some ceiling partition has to be installed.

Marriott/Ambassador/Titanium for life/ 3,600 nights in Marriotts. This hotel in gorgeous Sedona is part of the “Tribute” collection which the brand specifies as special and out of the ordinary, bland Marriott portfolio. I have been to Sedona many times and it is my favorite location in the West. The staff at this hotel are friendly,efficient and knowledgeable about their hotel. Molly & Austin were particularly helpful. Pros: location and view are outstanding Rooms are super clean and nice size tv ( if you need it) My room had access to the shared balcony overlooking “ coffee pot” The restaurant balcony has different, inspiring views of Sedona. The restaurant food and service are good but limited. The lobby and restaurant are integrated into one grand room. Expect to pay $50 for a bottle of mediocre wine from the marketplace to take away. Fire pits on balconies are wonderful at night. CONS: Toddlers running and screaming on large shared balcony both of my 2 mornings at. 07:45! ( directly outside our 2 rooms) Father not even close by. A guest should not have to come out of a deep sleep and have the parent remove the out of control, screaming children from outside my door EVER, much less at dawn. I had 2 rooms at over $561/night for the Superbowl weekend but, mostly to soak in the gorgeous, serene Sedona views and atmosphere in peace & quiet. The shared balcony, if not the entire Tribute hotel should be adults ONLY! Sedona is a place for adults to get away from the overbearing, never ending noise that is America. Bathroom is too spartan. There is zero space to place any personal bathroom necessities as there is only a sink with no cabinet space or shelves. Towel bar placement for towels does not make sense. <6 inch on top of toilet bowl(?) Housekeeping carts rolled out producing extremely loud noise at 07:45 AM both days over the outside concrete balcony which they parked outside our rooms and began speaking to each other loudly. This Marriott is in such a great location but needs more work to accommodate the target market of high end guests it aspires to. ** Tribute, make your rooms and your entire hotel experience something that keeps high end guests coming back**

Beautiful location, there are many properites to chose in Sedona and being a Marriott titanium Elite, I always try to stay at a Marriott property whenever possible. I read some negative reviews priot to booking and rolled the dice. Pro's - Location and view for sure. Service is also very good. Nightly activities were excellent. Response to issues were prompt. Music at night in the lobby was excellent, great way to spend an hour or two. Con's - Wifi - I had issue connecting to the wifi and went to the front desk and they tried to help, but were unsuccesful. I should have known how to fix it myself and it took me awhile, but had to connect to Microsoft edge first for the Marriott bonvoy connection to show up. Going straight to my wifi connection didn't work. My shower didn't work....I've stayed in over 1,800 Marriott hotels and thought maybe this one had something different....I tried and tried and finally went to the front desk and they quickly had maintenance show up at my room. The guy agreed that the shower didn't work. After about 10 minutes he fixed it. Prior to him showing up at my room, housekeeping came by and I asked if they could look at it. Housekeeping agreed that it wasn't working and stated that they cleaned the room two days prior and it was working. Housekeeping was very good. Power outlets - Could use a few more in the room. Parking - As noted many times, charging $36 for parking is insane. I almost wanted to say I wasn't parking a vehicle as I stayed three nights. My last issue - I'm a Marriott Titanium Elite and usually get upgraded to better rooms when available. I was on floor 100, which is 3 floors down from the lobby / parking...not that big of a deal for me, but the view of Sedona IMO is much better on levels 2 and 3. The property was not crowded. I'm a spoiled Marriott member and thought I should have been given a better room with a view and closer to fireplaces. The property wasn't cheap....I believe the property has great potential and seems like it has good people on site. Put the parking rate into the room rate and make sure all showers are working! :-)
