We have been to the train before. We really like the new changes of a hotel and other improvements to the area.

“Grand Canyon Railway 4 night package and Rim Mule ride”
so so very memorable, many great Family moments, luxury at the Williams Grand Canyon Railway Hotel …the Phantom Ranch suite!! The grounds!! Gift shops!! Fred Harvey Restaurant!! “Anniversary Getaway”
Overall good trip, however The Fred Harvey Restaurant food could use some improving. The food choices were minimal, and often either dried out or not cooked all the way.

“Expensive but still a convenient place to spend the night and catch the train.”
The hotel is nice. Nothing fantastic and architecturally it's a non-entity. However, it's a convenient place to stay to catch the train. The room was comfortable enough and the food in the Fred Harvey restaurant was alright.

You’re probably paying too much for an average property. It’s convenient for the train ride to the Grand Canyon. The depot is fun.
