“Rate the visit as excellent”

Stayed in room 114, two queen size beds only used one. Great value, very clean. Had plenty of bath towels. Looking forward to staying there next year for the JDM car show.

We were able to make a last minute reservation. Had a room with 3 beds. That was a special treat while traveling cross country with 2 teens. The beds were clean and comfortable. The hotel is completely remodeled. We had the opportunity to chat with the owners and really enjoyed our stay. We really wanted to try some of the local coffee and dining shops so the hotel offered exactly what we needed. Clean comfortable last minute stay.

I am a hospitality pro, having spent 50+ years in the industry. Star Motel is a historic and quaint motel and although it is old, the room we stayed in was built in the fifties; the rooms are meticulously maintained, clean and reasonably priced. We were warmly welcomed by the owners who also work the front desk and greet guests personally. We were in the older wing of the motel which was fine for us as we had our two dogs and we were on the ground floor with no one above us. The motel is centrally located in Williams making everything we did quite convenient. The room we were in was small but it had a king size bed, good sized tv, microwave and refrigerator and the heater which we needed worked efficiently and quietly. The bathroom has been recently remodeled and I really appreciated the walk in shower (I am in my seventies with mobility issues) and the toilet is a modern chair high which old folks like me really appreciate. All in all, you get a great value for your money and a great night’s rest.

This is an adequate, rudimentary hotel if you need a place to sleep while traveling through Williams. There was some kind of construction going on in the lobby/office and there was drywall dust everywhere. The guy who checked us in was nice enough but he gave two of us the same room. (Fortunately, the place was not full and we got another room.) My wife likes to describe small enclosures as "not big enough to swing a cat around by the tail without getting hair in your mouth." The shower in this room was not big enough to swing a mouse around by the tail without getting hantavirus. We were told to check out by leaving room keys in the box on the office door. But that was a mailbox and there was mail in there. Very strange operation.
