“Such a great experience”

The staff was exceptional, they were genuinely kind and made the stay so nice… the pool was definitely my daughters favorite part, I enjoyed the weight room and the food was delicious.

Our stay at this hotel for nearly a week was a truly wonderful experience. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and courtesy, providing us with outstanding customer service. We especially appreciated the convenient walk to downtown Burbank and the opportunity to sample the local restaurants, which were delightful. I would highly recommend this hotel due to its excellent amenities and its advantageous central location for exploring other nearby cities within the greater Los Angeles area.

There are pros and cons, I’ll list the cons first. 1. We weren’t able to get their free shuttle from the airport. I called them the day before and they said just to call up when you land and the shuttle will be over. But that’s not true. When we landed, we tried to call several times and either no one picked up or we were put on hold. We ended up taking a rideshare which cost about $40. 2. We were checking in about 2:30 PM and the person at the desk told me if we check in now that will be $50. I asked what do you mean and she told me if you check in before 3 PM apparently you have to pay $50 extra. So this was really irritating me after we didn’t get the shuttle and on top of it it was only a half hour away. What I couldn’t understand is why not just tell us we have to wait until three why are they trying to milk people for this extra money? The lobby was full of people who were not going to pay the $50 and who were waiting until 3 PM. 3. I asked about booking the airport shuttle on the way back. I followed what they said and the day before we left I gave our time and booked our spot or so I thought. We wanted 6 AM, the girl at the desk the day before took our info and said just be down there at 5:45 AM and it will be ready for us. When we got there this morning, the person said oh no there’s no room on that Shuttle you have to wait until the 7 a.m. Shuttle. I was very irate because I know I booked the day before and I don’t see why we were not on the shuttle. So I needed to print boarding passes, which I never ended up doing there. I did it at the airport but regardless as I’m in there aggravated saying oh we have to take another Lyft back to the airport the man that drives the shuttle comes in and says oh we do have room for you. So we did get on that shuttle and what did I happen to see but there were two shuttles and they were all full of flight attendants and pilots so apparently they were really the original thing that bumped us off shuttle. This is very poor customer service from this hotel because we had this booked already and we had it booked first and just because we were not with the flight crew. They were going to bump us off! 4. When we first checked in and were up in our room, we bought some sodas and were going to put them in the refrigerator only to find that somebody left food in the refrigerator and it stunk of garlic! So after having to take a Lyft from the airport and having to wait until 3 o’clock or pay that $50 for a half an hour our refrigerator has not been cleaned out. I did tell the desk and they took care of this right away and honestly, if this thing with the Shuttle didn’t happen this morning I wasn’t even going to leave the review, but I really feel that this hotel does not know how to properly treat guests and don’t value guests unless there is a big group probably taking about five rooms or you’re in the flight industry Now the pros 1. They sell food and we had breakfast there two days and the food was very good and the people taking your order and bringing the food were very nice. It was a great experience. 2. We got takeout for lunch one day from the bar and that was also delicious and the bartender was very very nice. So both of the food areas had super service. 3. If you want to go to Universal Studios Hollywood, it is very close and very easy to get a rideshare from there. 4. Also a very pretty area and a nice walk to many restaurants and stores. However, due to the check-in and Shuttle problems I would not recommend this hotel. There are others in the area and the next time I’m there I will be checking out one of them.
