This place is a diamond in the rough. If you get a room facing the creek in back, it is one of the quietest, most beautiful settings you're likely to find. It's a five minute walk to a beautiful park and beach. Clean, nice rooms, some of which have a jetted tub, others are large suites, many have "fireplace" heaters, and all are reasonably priced for what you get. There's an excellent, strong jetted jacuzzi for guests, along with a steam room, and available therapeutic massage (I didn't have time to get a massage but I noticed they were reasonably priced compared with some hotels.) The staff are super helpful. Free covered parking and nice attention to details, like windshield cleaners that you can use in the parking garage. It's really a special place -- a favorite for me -- that I'd be stoked to stay at again. A couple things to note that I would love to see improve to match how great the place is overall: There's no restaurant and very little in the way of food onsite, and also no Doordash or Grubhub, though I hear some local restaurants deliver. The grab and go breakfast they comp doesn't have anything I would eat (I stay away from sugary junk food and opt for protein, veggies, fruit.) To me it actually seems incongruous that such a nice place would offer the food they do -- better to offer some packaged quality food for a price than processed sugar free. The other thing they could do to match how wonderful and healthy the place is in general is to use "green" cleaning products and toiletry items (their soap, shampoo, etc. is "pretend green.") That's more important to me than it is to most people since the strong chemical stuff tends to make me sick, so it may not matter to a lot of people. But I notice more hotels going "green" and including it in their marketing, so maybe it wouldn't be a bad business decision? Don't know, but they said I could call in advance to request natural products, though I don't know what they have on hand to do that. I offer these suggestions and a long review here because I believe it's worth it for a favorite place.
