This hotel was in a great location. Was quiet, you'd never know you were in a bustling city (grant you my room did not face the highway so can't comment on that noise.) The breakfast will blow you away. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, meat (bacon or sausage plus chorizo or other for burritos, fajitas, etc) every day. The pool was nice (although a bit cold since outdoors). My kids used it every day. The things that could be improved: there is a $7 per night parking fee that is not fully disclosed. Luckily, I had seen it commented on in the reviews and it is listed on the website now. But, when we checked in, the person at the desk made a big deal to tell us that our credit card would show a deposit but that we would get that entire amount back after checkout. When I asked that same individual later if there was a parking fee still, he said, "yes, it comes out of your deposit." So, his earlier statement to us was inaccurate, you do not get the entire deposit back. I don't necessarily mind the concept of a parking fee but I feel this needs to be much more open & clear to customers. On the cleanliness front, at face value, things looked clean. But, my family's feet all turned black walking barefoot in our room. The final detail that bothers me was our reservation was for 4 people. However, when we arrived in our room, we only had 2 sets of towels and no linens for the pull out sofa (which we required because we had the king bed suite). We were given the towels and linens quickly once we asked but I feel for a reservation for 4, we shouldn't have had to ask. Again, a minor detail but one that does make a difference when trying to separate yourself out from the hotel competition. None of these negatives would prevent me from staying here again. Overall, it was a lovely facility, clean and comfy enough.

Pros: - Clean and well maintained property - Friendly, helpful, and attentive employees - Beautiful location - Larger rooms - Amazing breakfast Cons: - Ridiculous parking fee - Not enough luggage carts - No loading/unloading area I paid $382 to stay at this property for two nights, and they have the nerve to charge me for parking in their lot! An absolute cash-grab that is insulting. This Homewood is one of the nicer ones. The property and location are beautiful. Employees were attentive and focused on my stay. The standard king bed room is on the larger side for Homewoods. The breakfast is amazing with the variety and quality of items. There is no loading/unloading area so you have to pull in to a parking spot to do that. When leaving I was not able to get a luggage cart and had to make 4 trips from my room on the fourth floor to my vehicle.
