The room is perfect for small businesses needing a central location in Coronado,. You do have to arrange outside catering for breakfast. The staff working at the front desk both days were amazing.

Such a cute Spanish style hotel. There’s conveniently a restaurant right in the middle of it. I will say the stairs to the room were pretty steep and narrow. Not a problem for us but maybe for older people or people who have a harder time getting around. I love that the rooms have a kitchen, gave me an opportunity to save some money and cook for a few of the meals. The price point is great! Making it affordable for everyone. We stayed there for four nights while visiting my son who’s in the military and is stationed in Colorado. I also love that they have nice, cold water in the lobby. I was able to fill up my Stanley everyday. I will say that upon checking in the person at the front desk wasn’t super friendly. There’s never anybody at the front desk. You do have to ring the bell. I wish he would’ve explained the amenities and where everything was and the coupon included in our stay. I didn’t see it until a couple of days later therefore missing out on a free appetiser at Miguel’s Cocina. He also told us that there would be a daily fee for amenities. I went back the next day to verify because that didn’t sound right. I was pretty sure it was included in the price when I paid online. The person there the next day said that the other guy was mistaken and that there wouldn’t be a charge because it was already included. The good definitely outweighed the bad. There’s restaurants and a coffee spot within walking distance and so is the beach! I actually didn’t use my car once. I will say that i don’t like the fact that the parking for the hotel is not on grounds ( I think it’s a few blocks away) and it’s $40 per night!! We were able to find street parking a few blocks away. I love the fact that you can request housekeeping up until 4pm! The pool was always out of towels unfortunately and the jacuzzi wasn’t working the first day.

“Cozy older hotel”

The toilet was constantly running. There must have been an internal leak. It can be noisy due to restaurant being close

Very nice hotel, love the area and location, rooms are a bit older but well maintained. Ground floor unit was very spacious and clean. The beach is near by, but the beach was closed due to contamination from Tijuana sewage. Don’t be fooled if they say the beach is open, the sand is but the water is closed. Our barroom shower was consistently clogged and didn’t drain. We asked every day during our stay to fix it, housekeeping tried but to no avail. We asked for a different room but were told none were available. They called a plumber but we have yet to see him. Otherwise I would give it a much higher rating. Call and specifically ask if the water is open, not the beach.
