I had a wonderful experience staying at The VIV Hotel, and I especially want to recognize Jorge at the front desk for providing exceptional customer service. I booked my stay through a third-party reservation service, but unfortunately my reservation was not sent to the hotel correctly, and the room I had reserved wasn’t reflected in their system. The third-party company was even planning to send me to a different hotel. Thankfully, Jorge took the time to thoroughly look into the situation. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Instead of turning me away, he worked diligently to resolve the issue and was able to accommodate me in the room I had originally reserved. Jorge turned what could have been a very frustrating experience into a smooth and positive one. His dedication to helping guests and his outstanding customer service truly made all the difference. Because of his efforts, I was able to enjoy my stay at The VIV Hotel without any further issues. Thank you, Jorge, for going above and beyond. Employees like you are a great reflection of The VIV Hotel, and I truly appreciate everything you did to make my stay a great one.

“Not worth for the money”

The room rate is pricey without free breakfast and parking not worth for the money, the parking fee is $39.99 per night that is like highway robbery and they’re selling bottled water inside the room which is very expensive and that is $10.00 each. I will never book with VIV hotel again.

My family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights for Disneyland. Last year we stayed at the JW Marriott but avoided that hotel this year to dodge the crowds visiting for VidCon. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and booked directly through Marriott. This hotel is advertised as a 4 star but really more like a 2-3 star. From a distance the room appears fresh and clean but you can quickly tell that the bare minimum is being done. I always wipe down high contact surface areas myself with Lysol, and my wipes were covered in dirt. The floors are grimy and strings of hair from previous guests were on the floor. We ordered food from Valencia’s and picked it up ourselves rather than room service. It was just average. The most disappointing part is the lack of towels and line provided. For the entire stay we had to keep calling to request more towels because enough were never provided for our family of 4. We just kept receiving large bath towels and little to no wash cloths available. It is also frustrating to come in from Disney and find folded up linen on the bunk beds for ME to have to make up the beds myself. After one night I thought it was a fluke, but no this was the entire stay. I had to make up the bunk beds for my children! On night 3, I had to not only make up the beds again, but had to call and request a sheet because one of the bunk beds they did not put on a new fitted sheet. The fitted sheet does not fit, it was too small. Front desk staff and staff in Melody’s are nice. The rooms are hot, which seems to be a complaint amongst some hotels in the area. We asked for a fan. Maintenance came and lowered the temp, which only helped for the first night. After that it was hot again and we still didn’t receive a fan. If I’m in Anaheim again, I would not return here. I do not like to travel and be uncomfortable and have to constantly request basic essentials.
