Pros As far as value goes, this is the best around. $75 In this part of town is unheard of. Hopefully they don't raise their prices! The most humble of their accommodations has a full kitchen and provides dish washing pods, washer and dryer with detergent, is clean, spacious, and comfortable. Free access to an in-house gym and pool. Interior decorating was very aesthetic. Accommodations in downtown seem to either be really expensive, or cheap and really crappy, and there are few in-between's. This however is economical, and nice. Employees went out of their way to be helpful and were very courteous. They worked hard and fast to let us check-in several hours earlier than the check-in time, and the front desk employee took it upon himself to help us haul our luggage from the check-in office to the building (it was clear this was not a requirement of his job.) They also answered the phone when we called hours before they opened when we were having issues checking out. They brought us extra towels, trash bags, and toilet paper when we asked. We almost had to have a package delivered there and though we ended up not, they were very helpful and prepared to get our package to us safely. The location is excellent and great for walking, and there are bus stops all around. Nice street view, not amazing, but ok. Big, nice window. Cons The check-in office is a walk from the building. Not super far, but if you have luggage this will be inconvenient. There are blinds over the window which do not keep the sunlight out, so sleeping in wasn't very possible. No house keeping. You must take out your own trash and wash your own towels, etc. They do provide soap and trash bags. They printed check-out directions that instructed us to deposit keys in a receptacle and described where to find it. We read the directions thoroughly and could not find the box. We scoured for 30-45 minutes and finally asked some cleaning staff for help who said the receiving box had been removed several days earlier, and had not been replaced; ergo, they gave us invalid check-out information that made us late for our flight. The keys for the room were also $150 each if lost, so we really didn't want to be charged for that. NOT COOL.

“Not a serviced apartment”

Easy to find in downtown LA. The check in process is a bitty strange (abandoned office??). We had booked for a family of five in a two bed apartment. We were provided three towels and enough sheets for four beds (the sheets did not fit the queen bed. And there were no quilt covers at all... strange?). When I requested additional sheets to make up the fold out bed I was told by the receptionist that she was too busy to assist and I would have to get to the reception (about 2 miles away) myself to pick up sheets and towels. This was indicative of our overall impression of the service for the apartment. They did provide additional towels and sheets on the second day. The apartment is spacious enough and clean enough - although there was no service received - we were unable to use the dishwasher (no tablets, powder or liquid). The washing machine and drier (with washing powder) was great. Overall, an average stay that could have been so much better with a little effort.

We arrived late at night for the check-in only to be told that our actual rooms are in a building a few blocks away. The receptionist was more bothered about leaving and getting her replacement to arrive on time to be of much help. The apartment itself was well appointed though the furnishings and the walls had a tired look about them. The apartment we were in was very well located though with a bus to Disneyland a walking distance away. The biggest confusion happened at the time of check-out as: a) They had not told us what to do with the keys once we left. Nor were any instructions provided in the long list of do and don'ts that was given to us. b) We were too tired and it slipped our minds The day before we were about to check out I had to call them ask them what to do and they blithely told me to drop the key in the dropbox near the parking. On the day of we searched high and low but found no such boxes leading us to take a cab over to the check-in office and nearly miss our train.
