My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel, and it exceeded our expectations. Our room was cozy and inviting, and the fireplace was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay feel extra special. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room spotless each day, which we truly appreciated. I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to the hotel manager Alejandro (I apologize if I’ve misspelled his name). He went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Since we were visiting during the off-season, he took the time to recommend places to explore, including June Lake and we’re so glad we took his advice. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip and made for an unforgettable day. Alejandro’s kindness, local knowledge, and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories. We can’t wait to return!

As you arrive you see this beautiful building set in and around even taller pines. The reception feels cozy and inviting as is the people welcoming your arrival. The exceptional room with fireplace, full kitchen, excellent large comfortable bed and great waterfall type shower makes for an great stay. The restaurant was great for an excellent breakfast, fun lunch and 5 star dinner. The staff was there every minute when you might need something. Fantastic time all around.

“Best Hotel in Mammoth”

Only place I stay at when traveling to work in mammoth, great hotel and great staff. Never any issues here, just wish the menu at the restaurant would go back to the choices prior to Covid.

We spent two nights here. It's a beautiful hotel located right in the middle of the action in Mammoth Lakes. We had a good stay, but there were some issues. This is shoulder season, so staffing levels are probably a bit lower, and summer employees still being trained---perhaps not as smooth-working as in ski season or mid-summer. As expected for a pricey Westin hotel, our partitioned king studio suite was very nice (not a view room--that's extra). The only room complaint was that there is inadequate lighting in the sofa area (hard to read something when sitting on the sofa). In general, staff were friendly---not overly welcoming, but OK. We especially liked the female bartender working in the late afternoon. There's plenty of free parking in an underground garage. There is a lovely pool and sitting area on the 2nd floor. Note that there is a $25 daily resort fee---don't remember whether that was covered when we made the reservation. It should be. Some issues. The first contact we had when we were checking in was a valet telling us in what seemed to be a not friendly voice to move our car a little to provide more room for other cars to get by. No problem moving the car. but when your first contact is with somebody who seems to have a bit of an attitude, that's not good. As to food service, breakfast food and service was excellent. The servings are huge---twice as much as you can eat (hotel could save some money here), Unfortunately, dinner one night at the White Bark was not good. The food was OK (nothing really special), but service was very slow---people who came in 10-15 minutes after us got their food the same time as us. There were just a few people in the restaurant, so why it took so long is a mystery. Overall, this is a very nice hotel, and that's what you expect for the price. Our few issues brought the rating down to 4 stars.
