This is a nice hotel in Ridgecrest, with nice and big rooms, nice and comfortable beds, good bathroom and breakfast, the check in process is very fast

The wind was terrible the day we were checking out. They can’t control that, just commenting the area may be very windy. Generally good stay and location, but this location has several separate 2-story buildings with exterior doors to all the rooms, like a traditional motel 6 or the like. Someone tried to enter our room at 1 am. A bit unnerving but it was probably a confused person who thought that was their room. Generally clean, a bit “small” with 2 beds. A/C worked well and we didn’t find any bugs or anything in spite of the doors leading directly to outside. Breakfast was decent and better than I expected with the scrambled eggs, and others enjoyed the waffles. :-) It must be a decent place in general because it appears many European tourists stay there. They are used to higher cleanliness and hotel/ motel breakfast standards, as we all should be, especially for the prices that are charged.

“Very good for stayover”

The hotel consists of a few different buildings. The room is big with a king size bed, a desk, fridge and microwave. Bathroom and wash basin are clean. The room was very quiet. Wifi has an occasional dip but overall works well. The breakfast is adequate for a motel of this type.

I stayed here for the first time recently, and found that the motel I had booked a few weeks prior to my visit had changed from Econolodge to Days Inn. Renovation work was being done but it didn't bother me during my stay. The location was not the most convenient along a diagonal street near a major corner intersection in town, making access a bit difficult but it was ok. I had a large room with a large TV, and there was a separate vanity from the bathroom area. The room had a mini-fridge (though it didn't include a freezer compartment), microwave, coffeemaker, and iron and board, plus a desk and chair. When I first got to the room I noticed the smell of whatever cleaner had been used there but it either went away after awhile or I got used to it and didn't notice it. The A/C worked well though it was noisy. The included breakfast options were fairly standard but fine for me - coffee, tea, juice, cereal, mini-muffins, bagels, toaster waffles, granola bars. There were signs of wear at the motel exterior but my room was clean and appeared to be well-maintained (though the liquid soap dispenser at the vanity sink was empty). Staff was friendly and efficient, and the price seemed a reasonable value.
