Workers were really helpful, room was nice and quiet, the room itself was comfortable and when i wanted to extend my stay they were really helpful especially my guy raj, he was helping me with my stay in anyway he could, he was a very friendly and helpful guy.

had an absolutely lovely stay at Comfort Inn Miramar! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed — the front desk, especially Raj, was so friendly and helpful. And Carmen, the head housekeeper, did an amazing job keeping everything clean and comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel offered so many great amenities that made my visit easy and relaxing. My room had free Wi-Fi, climate-controlled air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV — perfect for winding down after a long day. There was also a microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee/tea maker, which made it nice to have a snack or a drink in the room. Plus, the private bathroom came with free toiletries and a hair dryer. Every morning, I enjoyed the complimentary hot breakfast buffet, which was a great way to start the day. The hotel also provided free self-parking, daily housekeeping, and a 24-hour front desk. For relaxing, there was an outdoor pool with loungers, plus charcoal grills and a picnic area — nice touches for guests wanting to unwind or enjoy a casual meal outdoors. Other conveniences included a snack bar/deli for quick bites, laundry/dry-cleaning services for longer stays, and vending machines when you just need a late-night snack. The property is also pet-friendly (with some restrictions), and offers wheelchair-accessible parking and rooms, which is great for travelers with mobility needs. All in all, Comfort Inn Miramar felt like a home away from home thanks to the friendly staff, the range of amenities, and the overall comfort. I traveled to San Diego to take care of some business and to visit friends and family. Rather than imposing on anyone, I chose to stay close to where my business appointments were located. I selected the Comfort Inn Miramar based on its price, location, and my consistently positive experiences with Comfort Inn properties across the U.S. The room itself was decent, clean and spacious. Unfortunately, both the air conditioner and the refrigerator were extremely noisy. The constant noise made it difficult to sleep, to the point that I actually recorded it to share with friends. I also experienced ongoing issues with the hotel’s Wi-Fi, something I’ve never encountered at other Comfort Inn locations. On my first night, I contacted the front desk and was told I needed to skip to a password link below the name and room number section, which worked initially. The second evening, however, the Wi-Fi would not connect at all. After unsuccessfully trying to connect on three different devices, I gave up and used my phone’s data. The following morning, I tried again, rebooting my laptop and troubleshooting on my own; but still couldn’t connect. I attempted to call the 866 support number listed in the room, but the calls repeatedly dropped. When I went downstairs to speak with the front desk, the employee was unhelpful and dismissive, insisting the problem was with my devices. He also mentioned that calls to the help desk might not be going through because they were “busy.” If the help desk is busy, that typically indicates a larger issue. Eventually, I did reach the help desk and heard an automated message explaining that multiple hotels were experiencing Wi-Fi issues due to a recent software update; something the front desk employee should have been aware of. The representative I spoke with was very helpful, took my network address, and resolved the issue within minutes. My feedback to the hotel staff is simple: be aware of company-wide issues and be more helpful to guests. The front desk employee I dealt with attempted to minimize the issue by stating that no one else was experiencing problems. At 8:30 a.m., however, most guests were likely out for the day, the parking lot was fairly empty, and many people rely solely on their phones, so Wi-Fi issues may go unreported. The bottom line is that customer service matters. San Diego offers plenty of hotel options. I chose this location based on my positive experiences with the Comfort Inn brand elsewhere, but I will not choose this particular location again. I will remember the dismissive and rude attitude of the front desk employee. If a service is advertised, staff should be aware of known issues or make an effort to investigate them. The lack of concern and indifference toward guest feedback reflects poorly on how this franchise values its paying customers.
