“Great historic hotel, with excellent amenities and service. Very Nice”
This hotel is a great old hotel - about 120 years old. It has great craftsmanship throughout with marble, wood, and brass everywhere. Our room was well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. “Could not have been more pleased!”
Would absolutely recommend staying! What a beautiful historic building. The Vella parking was a life saver so fast and convenient and we did not meet an employee of the hotel that was not wonderful!

“Great stay at GPS!!!”
We stayed 1 night (couple) for a concert at House of Blues. This is a vintage hotel but it is super clean and well maintained. Bed was comfy and room super clean. Its walking distance from HOB (roughly 3-5 minutes) so location was very important for us, Definitely will stay here again for more con… more

“Hotel and general area brief review”
Neat old hotel in a changing area. Good service, clean rooms and liked the top patio best over eight days. When walking north to the east/west Cable Car street was safety iffy late night. Walking south on 5th Ave to Padres Pk and the Bay Front seemed safer.
