My wife, sister, and brother-in-law stayed in Room 161 for one night on June 27, 2026. We chose this hotel since we spent the whole day at SeaWorld San Diego and then planned on going to San Diego Zoo Safari Park the next day. This hotel was one the closest to SeaWorld (less than 10 minute drive). The hotel itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. The complimentary hot breakfast we had in the morning was also pretty good overall. The only downside of this hotel was the fact that the parking situation was quite chaotic. Since there's very limited parking in the lot of this property, they apparently contracted a 3rd party company to handle the task of providing valet parking for $25/day. Besides that, the room itself was spacious enough for my group and everything was clean and modern on the interior of the room.

This hotel is a little expensive but it's so clean and the service is so good I think it's worth it. There was a problem with my room and it was quickly rectified. Somebody from the staff helped me move all my stuff to the new room. I like to have my room extra clean, so I requested to have it freshened up during my stay and someone was sent over immediately. If you do the same, don't forget to tip your workers! I went for a walk around the hotel and took some great photos. I highly recommend you do the same. There's also a Raising Cane's right across the street that is open until 3am, and their Diet Coke is the bomb. The only downside I can think of is the expensive parking. I stayed two nights so I ended up paying $50. The parking is $25 per night. If you like Indian food I highly recommend Tandoori House, which is walking distance from the hotel. Their food is divine! I got the room with the pool view which was nice, but beware if you dislike hearing screaming kids! They were only loud during the day because the pool closes at 9pm, so it didn't bother me.

“Exceptional service in a clean and quiet Hotel”

Had a wonderful stay at Hampton Inn & Suites San Diego SeaWorld! The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. A great place to stay for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended!
