Seniors - stayed a week and had a great time. Easy access. Gas Stations and Restaurants close by. South side rooms very quiet, and face Joshua Tree mountains nearby for a grand view. Large room to move around in, including the bathroom. Standard breakfast, various seating options. All of the Staff were very friendly and helpful. “Newer property and probably the one of the best options in Twentynine Palms for visiting Joshua Tree N.P.”

This is a newer hotel and very conveniently located for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. We stayed for five nights, so the quality of the accommodation was pretty important to us. This is a newer hotel and very conveniently located for visiting Joshua Tree National Park. We stayed for five nights, so the quality of the accommodation was pretty important to us. Parking is a bit tight when the hotel is fully booked, and the back door to the hotel was broken during the entirety of our stay, so if you had to park near the rear of the building you had to walk in the dark all the way around to the front entrance in order to enter the building. Our room (301) was clean and well-equipped with a good-sized minifrig, Keurig coffeemaker, microwave, very comfortable king bed with a plush topper and plenty of pillows, and a sofa. We opted not to have our room serviced every day, but the cleaning staff was always pleasant and helpful whenever we requested clean towels, etc. The bathroom had a full-sized bathtub with a good shower above and nice water pressure. There was a decent-sized closet with a few hangers. Unfortunately the wifi went out the night after we arrived and did not work for the entire next day, which was extremely frustrating as cell phone service in the entire area was also spotty. However, one of the front desk staff, Tim, worked diligently by phone to rectify the problem eventually, which we very much appreciated. On the fourth day of our stay the power went out in the room, which was fixed within the hour after we reported the outage. Later that day, the ice machine on the third floor was not working, and a sign was taped to it saying to go to the ice machine on the first floor. There is a small gym near the lobby which we used every day. It was well-equipped with treadmills, recumbent bike, hand weights, mats, towels, water cooler, etc., except that it was missing 10-pound hand weights. The breakfast provided in the lobby each morning (5-9:30 weekdays or 7-10 weekends) was appreciated -- scrambled eggs or omelettes, bacon or sausage, biscuits, bagels, toast, butter, jam, peanut butter, apples and bananas, fruit juice, coffee, muffins, cereals, milk, and cinnamon rolls. The front desk also provided a list of nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner. While we were in Twentynine Palms we drove around and looked at some of the other accommodation options and definitely thought this was the best option even though it clearly had some issues during our stay. There was a pool and a hot tub but we did not use them as it was too cold during our stay.
