“Getaway wknd”
Always a great stay. Great ocean view and close to Carlsbad if you want to leave for the evening.

“Nice hotel, nice view, great restaurant and bar”
Really nice hotel, slightly pricey. Great view from our balcony. Layout was odd, we had to walk through the pool to get to our room, but perhaps that was the quickest. Loved the restaurant and the servers. I had the chili crusted sea bass. Outstanding. We also enjoyed hanging in the bar

“Not bad if you’re looking to stay away from the crowds closer to San Diego. Skip if you’re looking for something lively!”
Not bad, although be aware that the outside of the hotel is not as large and sprawling as it looks in the pictures. The rooms were incredibly clean with comfortable beds and are extremely spacious. Overall enjoyed the weekend. Atmosphere was good. The little store at the hotel seemed to be closed more than it was opened which seemed weird with how busy it was from Friday to Monday. The location was beautiful. Atmosphere was pretty relaxed. The property restaurant and room were a little underwhelming.
