Good for a few days because it's clean, convenient and has reliable internet. If you're doing a longer-term stay, there are a few issues. The staff here is very friendly. The internet was reliable and fast. Housekeeping was very good. In the room, we were able to open our windows for fresh, cooler air. The bed was comfortable and one of the few hotel mattresses that does not overheat. The location is good too - it's next to s strip mall with a Safeway (but not noisy). The U of Colo campus is a straightforward, 15-minute walk. Breakfasts were ok--typical hotel fare--and the Wednesday social hour(s) was a nice touch. So if you're staying longer, here are the drawbacks: The fitness room is way too small for this hotel. It's cramped if more than 2 people use it. There are no weights other than small dumbbells (max 15 lbs), no bench, no wipes, no water, no air circulation. But the cardio equipment (2 treadmills, 1 Peleton, 1 elliptical) all worked. The kitchen our room was missing key supplies for long-term stay. We had a cutting board but no knives that cut, no can-opener (got one from front desk later), no collander, no glass/ceramic dish for cooking in microwave, no potholders (we used a wash cloth), no silverware holder (so we lined a drawer with paper towels and put silverware there). And the "silverware drawer' is blocked from fully opening by the dishwasher. The kitchen faucet barely projects over sink basin, so when you rinse dishes in the sink, water often goes everywhere. On a positive note, the microwave is powerful. Water pressure in the shower was low.

This is an older hotel as compared to newer Marriott and Hyatt hotels in Boulder. The hotel is located right next to a strip mall that has a supermarket, dollar store, and a variety of restaurant cuisines (Italian, Indian, Mexican, etc.) within walking distance. An assisted living and library is also nearby. Whenever we are in Boulder, this is our go to hotel since they offer a fair price, spacious clean rooms with a kitchen and electric fireplace, free parking, and free breakfast that rotates their protein selection so it's not sausage everyday. Front desk personnel were nice, helpful and friendly. The hotel consists of multiple separate buildings which means you need to walk outdoors to get to the lobby so be careful when it snows. Beds are comfortable. If value is important to you, this is a good place to stay.

I preferentially stay in Hilton Properties after spending many years traveling for work. When we travel for vacation and I know it will be a long stay, I select Homewood Suites as they usually have a 2-Bedroom Suite configuration along with full (as full as it gets!) kitchen. This stay was for 10 days, so definitely wanted to eat a few meals in. In addition, we had a few very cold and snowy days. Kitchen - poor stocked. This two-bedroom suite was for up to 6 people, we had only three adults. No spatula, no sharp knife, enough plates, coffee cups, and flatware for only three! No ideal for any meals in. In addition, one of those old cartridge type coffee makers! The coffee in the Lobby wasn't drinkable, we tried. Actually went out and bought a coffee press! Only trash receptacles were tiny ones, difficult for trash if you did any cooking! We ended up throwing out a lot of groceries and it was too tough to cook even a few meals! Room - beds were very comfortable. One room, with the two twin beds, actually had a larger closet and bathroom counter, odd, as the King Bedroom was smaller. Neither had more than a few hangers, again we were staying for 10 days! The living room furniture, very uncomfortable! Chair and couch. The living/Kitchen area was very small, so the table only had two chairs, and we used the ottoman as the third chair. Not sure where 6 people would sit or eat! This is the smallest two-bedroom suite I have ever stayed at and this is Boulder, CO! The largest was DT Seattle ($$$$). The second bedroom was really an attached (adjoining) hotel room. My concern here would be young kids as you could actually use the latching lock on the inside and the room key did not work on the exterior, and there is an exterior door access. This would not be acceptable, IMO, for a family with young (or even teen aged kids!!). Two bedroom suites should be just that, two bedrooms, within the one suite. I am not sure if they are all set up like this. The separate bedroom did not have an additional living area! Breakfast - typical breakfast. The selections did rotate. Nothing amazing but it's all included as expected. We did eat here about half of the time. Service - very nice staff. Housekeeping and front desk. Check-in and check-out very easy. Location - very close to a grocery store (Safeway) and several small restaurants, other than that we were constantly driving to get anywhere in Boulder. Overall, I don't recommend this property! It did not meet my expectations. Rooms are far too small and uncomfortable for an extended vacation. If you are only spending 1-2 nites and it's close to where you need to be, then I would chance it!

Not bad, way overpriced taking advantage of the Buff game weekend. I specifically asked for a ground floor (disabled vet) and was given Bldg C, Room 222, second-floor stairs, on the far side of the property and away from close parking. Not bad, way overpriced taking advantage of the Buff game weekend. I specifically asked for a ground floor (disabled vet) and was given Bldg C, Room 222, second-floor stairs, on the far side of the property and away from close parking. At check-in, the owner was not super friendly but more direct in his demeanor. I like the property and location, but I will look for other options next time in Boulder. I do not like the lock-in charges, paying half weeks in advance for a stay, and being unable to cancel without jumping through hoops and calling the office and corporate. This was $950.00 for a Fri-Sun stay in a regular suite. It seems preditary and not in keeping with the normal Hilton property rules; you can cancel online 24 hours without penalty. Here, you cannot cancel without penalty. This is my second time at this property, and this stay, the weekend went up almost 35% from November 2023. I would have given five(5) stars if my preference was respected and no advance fees or charging my credit card weeks before the stay. v/r, Dr. K. King, Diamond Member.

“Just okay”

This hotel could definitely use a little of a refresh. The room was room and worked for our family of 4. Sometimes I felt like I was back in an apartment because I could hear the people above me. Free breakfast is decent. Overall okay, but I wouldn't come back.
