“Great Experience”

Had a great experience as I was there for the CADA Conference.

We had a really nice stay at Beaver Run Resort overall. The condo was clean and had some great features. The bathroom was definitely a highlight—the huge shower and jetted tub were awesome after a long day. We also really liked the workout facility, which was a great bonus to have on-site. The only downside for us was comfort. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the couch felt pretty worn out and overused, which made it tough to relax at night. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would come back—just hoping for a more comfortable setup next time!

PROS: - 15 min walk from Main St. but there is also a very easy and convenient shuttle option. Used the shuttle after later dinners and was very impressed. - Rooms were very clean. - Bed was comfy and there was ample pillows and blankets provided with extra in the closet if needed. - In room coffee maker and fridge were a big plus. - Wifi was fast and easy to connect. - Hotel appears to have alot of amenities - Arcade, restaurants, a little market to buy snacks. - The fitness center has dumbbells, two treadmills, eliptical, bike and cable machine. As far as hotel fitness centers go it's pretty decently stocked. It is SMALL and can feel cramped with more than 4 people in there. Cons - There is NO AC and the room runs very hot. I had my window open for some cool air and had to deal with street noise fairly often. - The rooms are connected to suites and you can hear your neighbors sneeze/talk on the phone so if that bothers you, consider a room or hotel that doesn't have the option for connecting suites. - Shower was bad - no pressure and wonky temp. - Alot of reviews mention the "beautiful view." Make sure you request that. My view was the back of another building.

Overall, our stay was good, but we were disappointed with the pool hours. We arrived on a Saturday night right at 10:00 PM, only to find that the pool had just closed. My kids and I were really looking forward to swimming, so we were very upset that we couldn’t use it. On the positive side, the pool and hot tub were kept at a very comfortable temperature when we were able to use them. The arcade being open 24 hours was also a nice bonus and gave the kids something fun to do. The room was very clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of fresh towels, and we especially liked the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that were provided. Another convenience was having a Starbucks and a mini market inside the hotel, making it easy to grab coffee, snacks, or other essentials. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is quite a maze. It took us a little while to get used to the layout and find our way around. Overall, the hotel had many great amenities and a clean, comfortable room, but I wish the pool had stayed open later, especially on a Saturday night.
