“It was a perfect choice”

We spent a week in Louisville, Colorado. Our check in with Ian was easy. He was informative and helpful! Definitely a plus! Our room was clean, Housekeeping kept our room fresh, thank you. We enjoyed having the kitchen. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices. This hotel is close to downtown Louisville, not far from Superior and Lafayette. Boulder just 15 mins away. Walking trails everywhere!! And of course the mountains! It was perfect for us and would stay there again.

“A Mixed Bag”

This stay was a mixed bag. Although a Residence Inn by Marriott, it is an older two story hotel with dated interiors. This stay was a mixed bag. Although a Residence Inn by Marriott, it is an older two story hotel with dated interiors. The daily rate was reasonable; the king studio was roomy enough and the king bed was most comfortable, not too hard but not too soft either. There’ was plenty of drawer & closet space too! The TV swiveled to face the bedroom or living area. There was a small 2-burner stove along with a pot, fry pan, dishes, mugs, basic silverware & prep knives. My big complaint was that the garbage disposal did not work so food debris had collected in there. When the dishwasher ran, its waste water, along with these food scraps, came up into the sink. Also the disposal’s rubber flaps at the drain were yucky, indicating they had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. I reported this during our stay, which the manager noted and said would be fixed in short order. The front desk & laundry staff were very helpful at every encounter, especially when my husband got ill & I needed extra Kleenex and towels. We didn’t partake of the breakfast much, because we are plant-based & gluten-free. So it was great to have a little kitchen with fridge. One last comment; although there is a hotel phone in the room it does not work.

“Beds that are way too soft and pot smoke wafting into our rooms at night.”

I am a large person 6’5” and the king size mattresses were terrible. Sunk right into them. I am a large person 6’5” and the king size mattresses were terrible. Sunk right into them. Front desk told us they were new within the last 3 years, but the label on the mattresses says it was delivered 5-6 years ago. We had booked a suite so I tried the queen size bed and it was much better, but not perfect. I need some support. No real recourse offered about the mattress issue. Second issue was our suite on the second floor was above an entranceway on the first floor. Some nights other guests would stand there and smoke pot, and the smell wafted right into our room even with all windows closed. Would call the front desk every time, but by the time they could check the guests would be gone.
