The staff was absolutely amazing! There weren't a ton of amenities, and unfortunately the hot tub was out of order, which I had really been looking forward to. However, they made up for it by surprising me with a complimentary room upgrade and drinks for my birthday, which I truly appreciated. Also...the body wash and lotion—OMG! They smelled incredible. I completely forgot to ask what brand or scent they use because I would absolutely buy it. The valet parking is a little pricey, but we chose it so we wouldn't have to haul our luggage from farther away, and it was worth the convenience. The room itself was so much fun! I loved the projector screen, and the extra-high bed was such a cool touch. The kitchenette had everything you would need if you wanted to cook a meal during your stay. The bathroom was a work of art. I loved the overhead rainfall shower and the handheld pull-out shower head—it felt so luxurious. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. One thing to note: the hotel is dog-friendly, so you may hear dogs barking occasionally, but it wasn't excessive. Thank you, Catbird, for helping make my birthday special. I hope to stay with you again soon!

“Fun surprise in the city”

The room was amazingly efficient and well appointed. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was great. I never knew this hotel was here, but what a great surprise.

That was perfect. Everything! Nice area, nice place. The Burrito from the breakfast menu was great. Smart and delicious plates available at the front desk fridge. Crew was very kind and helpful.

We visited the RiNo district in Denver for 4 days and the location was why we chose Catbird. It is close enough to walk and Uber to most restaurants in the area. As for the hotel, there are pros and cons. The room is nicely laid out. The bed is up high enough to have two wardrobes underneath where there are plenty of hangers for your clothing and drawer space. One needs to navigate the stairs to get to the bed, and at night, it could be a little tricky if you were the one sleeping on the wall side. The bed was very comfortable. There is a large projection screen for the projector TV and a wall TV too. The projector has a high pitch fan noise that was intrusive. The screen does block most of the light during the day, which was nice. Shower was great, Euro style. The kitchenette has a sink, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, some silverware, multiple cooking utensils, a coffee pot for pour over coffee, complete with a thermometer, no dish towel, a two burner stove and some cookware. The sitting furniture was okay. A small couch with a roll pillow and a throw pillow, not the most comfortable. It may have been a pull out bed. There is also a straight back office chair. There is a section of the bed that you can pull out for a table or to use as an office. The room has a yoga mat, 2 - 4lb weights and a band. Cute, yes, but 4 lb weights don't do much. They have a nice gym that is open 24 hours with card access. It is in a different building. There was breakfast available and reasonably priced, not complimentary. $33 for two of us. One of the cons for me is that there is a $30/day amenity fee. The website says there is sparkling and still water on each floor, but it was not working on our floor or the one below. There is a nice rooftop area, but it was 95 degrees two of the days we were there. There is free laundry available on each floor. There is self check-in, while there were two people standing nearby. One pointed and said check in is over there. You need to scan your driver's license and print your own room keys. I could not understand what the people who were standing there were hired to do. The valet service worked well for us, and saved having to use an Uber, although it was $52 per day.
