Family enjoyed the stay in Bugle Pointe B23 overlooking the river. Easy access to downtown and Rocky Mountain Ntl Park. Saw elk in the front and back during the mornings on several days. Highlight was seeing the northern lights from the deck!

My family came in to help celebrate my daughter getting married In RMNP. The 4 bedroom house worked well for our family. It was clean & quiet area. Checkin was easy as well as checking out. My daughter had left her backpack with alot of stuff she needed at our house. We were checking out before she could get there as they were also packing up to leave. I packed it up & the office held it for her as they were leaving about 2 hours after us & she was 40 mins away. Only complaint is there’s NO washer/dryer. The houses are fairly close along the walking path, but we had no issues. Not far from the park entrance which is what drew me to this location. My husband and I did give up one of the bigger rooms to our married sons. One son & his wife claimed one & my grandson picked the larger one downstairs. The downstairs 2 bedrooms are much smaller than the 2 upstairs. My husband and I vacation a fair bit so we did switch with my son. After it was done I realized just how small the other bedroom was. Closet was in the hall, no dresser or anyplace to put cloths so I just put the suitcase on the small sofa in there. 3 bedrooms had TV’s .. of course ours didn’t. We were only there for 3 nights so it wasn’t too much of an issue & we were spending time with our family. My daughter & new husband had their own cabin a little farther away. House is within a few mins to Estes Park as well. Great location & there were Big Elk up on the ridge/mountain side just above the parking area. I forgot to take photos upon entering .. after there were too many of us to take them, but it was as advertised. If you get a chance go by the visitors center.. next to it is a frisbee course .. looks like a golf course.. we happened upon it coming in around 4pm.. SO MANY Elks lying, walking around and the males calling out. They were spread out over the course. Amazing too see. At least 200 or more were there. There’s a walking path around the fenced off area. 2 hours later they were all gone & back into the mountains (I guess).

We stayed in Creekside Room 22. I chose this room for the two of us to have a lovely 30th Anniversary weekend. Let's start with the checkin - when I arrived the young man at the desk was vacuuming the carpet in the office- we arrived at 430 pm. He did not turn off the vacuum, handed me the envelope with the keys and offered zero welcome attitude. We made our way to the room and boy am I glad I know how to do steps or am not disabled. There were sooo many steps to get from the parking lot to the room which are not at all mentioned in the description. A little unsettling as we often travel with our elderly Dad who would not have been able to manage the steps. In the room, the first thing I noticed were Christmas decorations. Really? In September? Just a sign of laziness on not wanting to put the stuff away. The second thing I noticed was the guest book - which was full and no option for me to leave a note. And no pen. (Why even have a guest book with no pen?!) We meandered outside - lovely river sound, lovely comfy chairs by the bridge - lots of road noise. (Why wasn't that mentioned in the description?) The chairs that were outside our unit were dirty and unkept. Needed a replacement. One of the chairs were even missing the straps and electrical or duct tape was used to make new straps? (Come on, you can't buy a new chair when I spent over $800 for two nights to stay there?!) Back in the room - I noticed the bed. Which was made. Nicely - however the mattress is so saggy it was clearly obvious even with the bed made. Sigh. What kind of sleep would we get?! (Note - we got none!) And about the lack of sleep --- there was a herd of elephants upstairs. Not sure how many people were staying there - but they walked - back and forth Friday and Saturday night - and it was soooo loud. All because of lack of any kind of sound proofing. We then wanted to heat up our pie that we had bought at the pie shop and guess what? The microwave didn't work. The office was closed - and the microwave was dead. I used the stove but guess what - the only "pan" I had for in the stove was a broiler top. Not even the bottom. The plates were dirty, there were only two drinking glasses - both mismatched - and the knives - holy moly - they are crap! I couldn't cut an onion for our sandwiches - and ended up using a plastic knife that I had brought from home. The pan to cook our breakfast in was disgusting and forget about having any options for flipping our eggs - the spatula was old and gross. Now - you are thinking that I am picky. Here's the thing - I paid a lot of money to stay in Creekside 22 and it's clearly evident that the owner doesn't care about their place. Maybe they have never been told that it needs massive TLC - but we definitely felt like we absolutely did not get what we paid for and I will make sure to never stay at Estes Park Condos again. If the condo needs to be updated and it's the owners responsibility - then Estes Park Condos needs to insist that it happens. And - BTW --- the amount of crap in the condo that needs to be cleaned or thrown out is overwhelming. Not cute - just dust collectors and we felt like the unit was dirty because of the amount of dust that gathered on the garland hanging from the windows, the lights by the TV, etc.
