Recently, I had an inconsistent stay at this property. My room was immaculately clean, the staff was very nice, and the breakfast room is large enough that everyone could easily find a seat. Although the hotel is close to a major road, it is well enough insulated that my room was quiet and I was able to sleep well. However, the equipment in the property's fitness center was broken, and the decor was dated. This is a good place to stay in Ely, where there are a limited number of lodging choices. However, its owners need to fix the fitness center and freshen its decor to make it even better.

This newish hotel is a much better than average La Quinta, It has a large comfortable common area, a fitness center and I even saw a meeting room. The beds were comfortable, room 331 was clean and when I got to my room there was a small bag with water and a snack for being a Wyndham Rewards diamond member. Most places forgot and it's not a big deal, but it shows they pay attention to details. It's adjacent to a decent-sized supermarket and we just hit the deli section and ate in the common area. The complimentary breakfast was a a disappointment, but I expect that at this price point. It had some terrible pre-made cheese omelettes and biscuits and gravy along with some bread items and cereal. They also have a large laundry room for guests. There is also a McDonald's a short stroll away. Don't forget. to have your official I Survived Hwy 50 passport stamped here.

“Non Smoking Inn Ely, NV”

Great non-smoking hotel but the rooms need to be refreshed. Great staff. Delicious breakfast. Near our next to the nevada train museum and The enjoyable white Pine County Museum. Of course, if you’re going to Great Basin National Park, this is a great option instead of staying in Baker

Lovely welcome from the ladies at the front desk. We enjoyed a few minutes chatting about different words that we use in England compared to those in the USA. This place is lovely and clean and very quiet. We asked for a room on the top floor as previous hotels we had had a problem with noisy people on the floor above us. The room was clean. Bed comfy. We were not happy to find that the coffee machine was in the bathroom. Who would make coffee in a room that has a toilet in! That's disgusting 🤢 We moved the coffee machine into the bedroom. When checking out I mentioned this to the clerk. Her attitude was - so what. That's common. She looked like she had just got off a motorbike. Not the sort of dress code that La Quinta staff should wear behind the desk.
